How to check the Armory if you missed it
- Reach Player Level 24, the level at which Activision says the Armory becomes available.
- Open Barracks > Challenges > Armory.
- Look for Dragon’s Breath. Activision says the Armory can hold previously missed Battle Pass and Event Loadout content, but its current listing of this specific attachment is not confirmed.
- If Dragon’s Breath appears, activate it and earn XP toward the unlock.
- After unlocking it, equip it as a shotgun Fire Mod in a loadout.
The Armory process and availability threshold are described in Activision’s Season 1 announcement. If the attachment is not listed, the official information available here does not identify another guaranteed way to obtain it.
What Dragon’s Breath does—and its loadout tradeoff
Activision describes the attachment as incendiary shotgun rounds with magnesium sparks that stick to and burn enemies over time. It is a shotgun Fire Mod, and equipping it prevents using a Barrel Attachment. The official Season 1 patch notes also identify it as compatible with shotguns.

Challenge tracking note
Treyarch’s Season 5 Reloaded patch notes documented a fix for Dragon’s Breath eliminations not counting toward Daily and Camo challenges. That is a historical fix, not evidence that challenge tracking is currently broken.
