Epic announced that he would then join your cause and give you the weapon. That was a limited-time seasonal encounter, not a confirmed way to obtain the minigun today.
How the original Eminem minigun encounter worked
- Queue into Battle Royale during Chapter 2 Remix Week 2.
- Travel to the Grotto and find the Mom’s Spaghetti area, where Eminem appeared.
- Defeat Eminem. Epic said he would join your cause and bestow his Mythic RG Minigun.
Epic’s Chapter 2 Remix announcement described the reward this way: “If you can defeat Eminem, he’ll join your cause and bestow you with his Mythic RG Minigun — a lyrical minigun with a rapid-fire flow.” Nintendo also reported that defeating Eminem granted the RG Minigun.
When Eminem was available
Epic published its announcement on November 1, 2024, and scheduled Eminem’s Week 2 appearance to begin November 7, 2024. The Chapter 2 Remix finale was announced for November 30, 2024, at 2 p.m. ET. You can check Epic’s original announcement for those season details.
Can you still get the Mythic RG Minigun?
The documented Eminem encounter belonged to the completed Chapter 2 Remix season. Epic’s announcement establishes that original seasonal unlock method, but it does not establish that the weapon or encounter has returned since then. So, treat defeating Eminem at the Grotto as the historical method—not a currently verified route to the minigun.

What the official information does—and doesn’t—specify
Epic identifies the reward as Eminem’s Mythic RG Minigun. Its announcement does not give exact map coordinates, boss-fight tactics, weapon statistics, drop rates, or confirmation of a later re-release. The stated reward came from defeating the in-game boss, rather than buying the weapon in the shop or unlocking it through the Battle Pass.
