Step-by-step: Silvermoon to Orgrimmar
- Find the Orb of Translocation in Silvermoon. Go to Sunfury Spire and continue to the back of the building. The orb is at approximately
/way 49.5 14.8, according to Wowhead’s Burning Crusade Classic guide. - Use the orb to travel to Undercity. It connects Silvermoon and Undercity.
- Go to the zeppelin tower outside Undercity. The tower is outside the city; Blizzard’s Classic transportation guide describes the Orgrimmar–Undercity zeppelin connection.
- Board the zeppelin bound for Orgrimmar. If you are unsure which vessel to take, ask the Zeppelin Master. Blizzard notes that zeppelins provide free Horde transportation.
Does this route apply to every version of WoW Classic?
“WoW Classic” can mean different game versions. This route is for The Burning Crusade Classic, where Silvermoon and its Orb of Translocation are available. Blizzard’s 2019 Classic travel guide covers the zeppelin network, while the Silvermoon orb route is documented in the TBC guide. On a season or realm with different content rules, first check whether Silvermoon and the orb are present.
Do not assume a direct Silvermoon-to-Orgrimmar portal mentioned in a later-version discussion is available in TBC Classic. A 2021 World of Warcraft forum thread concerns a later retail-era context, not this Classic route.
Can you take a different route through Shattrath?
If your character can already reach Shattrath, its portal to Orgrimmar is an alternative in TBC Classic. The Wowhead TBC guide lists portals from Shattrath to Orgrimmar and other major Horde cities, and notes that lower-level characters can use them. Getting to Shattrath may itself require a mage portal, so this is not the default route for a character who cannot get there. The sources do not establish which option takes less time.
