During Grow a Garden’s Fairy Event, fairies bless crops with the Glimmering Mutation. To complete a Wishing Well request, submit the requested Glimmering fruit—or, if you do not have it, submit any Glimmering fruit to charge Fountain Power. The event’s update description says fairies arrive hourly, but the available sources do not confirm that the event or its mechanics are active now.
How do I get Glimmering crops?
If the Fairy Event is live, plant crops and let its fairies visit your garden. The description for Grow a Garden Update Log 1.21.0 (2025) says fairies arrive every hour and bless fruits with the Glimmering Mutation. Hourly describes the arrival cadence; it does not guarantee how many crops will mutate on a visit.

A guide published by Beebom on August 30, 2025, also lists roaming fairies, the Glimmering Sprite pet, Mutation Spray Glimmering, and a Glimmering Pet Shard as ways to apply the mutation. These are dated alternatives, not confirmation that the pet, spray, shard, or event is currently available.
How do I complete Fairy Event wishes?
- Check the Wishing Well to see which Glimmering fruit it requests.
- If you have that fruit with the Glimmering Mutation, submit it for the request.
- If you do not have the requested fruit, submit another Glimmering fruit. The update description says any Glimmering fruit can be submitted to charge Fountain Power and counts the same as meeting the specified fruit requirement.
The event description does not establish wish reset rules, how much Fountain Power a submission adds, or whether the well’s current behavior matches the 2025 description.

How do I get Glimmering Mutation Spray?
Beebom’s August 30, 2025 guide describes Mutation Spray Glimmering as a craftable in-game item, using Cleaning Spray, Daffodil Seed, Orange Tulip Seed, Mango, and Sheckles. Check the live crafting menu for the recipe and item availability before gathering ingredients; that dated guide does not establish that the recipe is still valid.
Are other Glimmering items available?
A community wiki describes the Glimmering Radar as detecting and collecting Glimmering crops, but marks it currently unobtainable. Do not rely on it as an option unless the live game shows it is obtainable.
