Harvest a flying Luna Moth to collect its wing, check an alchemy shop for one to buy, or pick up a wing from a reported fixed world placement. Moths are described as appearing around flowers and in forests, but no dependable coordinates or guaranteed merchant stock are established.
Ways to get Luna Moth Wings
A community alchemy ingredients guide describes three ways to obtain the ingredient:
Harvest a flying moth
Look for visible moths fluttering around flowers and in forested areas. Activate a Luna Moth to collect its wing. The guide gives these broad habitat clues, not a precise route or time when moths are guaranteed to appear.
Check alchemy stores
Alchemy shops are another reported source. The guide does not identify a merchant guaranteed to carry the ingredient, so check available stock rather than relying on a particular shop or quantity.

Look for placed loot
The guide also reports fixed world placements of Luna Moth Wings. It does not provide a verified coordinate list, so treat this as an additional possibility while exploring, not a guaranteed pickup location.
What can you use Luna Moth Wings for?
The ingredient guide lists four alchemy effects: Damage Magicka, Fortify Light Armor, Regenerate Health, and Invisibility. A Skyrim alchemy guide also includes Luna Moth Wing in ingredient-combination recipes.

What is not confirmed about finding them?
These sources establish general acquisition routes, not exact coordinates, moth timing, guaranteed vendors, stock levels, or differences between game editions. The acquisition details come from community guides, not an official Bethesda reference.
