In Jujutsu Infinite, the community item reference reports that Maximum Scrolls and Domain Shards can come from chests, map spawns, and the Curse Market; it also lists a level-360 story reward for a Maximum Scroll. These routes and reported drop rates may change, so check the live game before committing resources. For a Domain Expansion, first confirm your Innate Technique is eligible: a Domain Shard unlocks one Domain, not unlimited uses.
Ways to get Maximum Scrolls and Domain Shards
| Route | Maximum Scroll | Domain Shard | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chests | Reported | Reported | The community Progression Items reference reports a 0.1% chance for each item from chests. Treat this as an unverified community-reported rate, not a guarantee. |
| Map spawns | Reported | Reported | Watch for spawns while progressing; no dependable timing or rate is established in the researched sources. |
| Curse Market | Reported | Reported | Check current stock and displayed costs. A community page reports a three-hour refresh, but the page is a stub and availability may vary. |
| Story progression | Reported at level 360 | Not listed | The community item reference names a Maximum Scroll story reward at level 360. Confirm the quest and reward in-game. |
| World bosses or crafting | Possible newer route | Possible newer route | A community update-log excerpt mentions these, but the research did not verify current details or crafting recipes. |
Practical steps
- Check the live game’s current progression requirements and make sure the item matches your goal. “Maximum Scroll” and “Dimensional Maximum Scroll” are separate items.
- For a Domain Expansion, verify that your Innate Technique can use one before spending a Domain Shard. The September 2026 community guide lists 14 eligible Innates: Infinity, Demon Vessel, Gambler Fever, Soul Manipulation, Ancient Construction, Star Rage, Curse Queen, Thunder God, Soul King, Volcano, Hydrokinesis, Judgeman, Plant Manipulation, and Projection. It says to purchase the skill in the Skill Shop and equip it.
- If you want a Maximum Scroll, progress the story toward the reported level-360 reward, and confirm the current quest and reward in-game.
- Open chests and keep an eye out for map spawns as you play. The wiki reports both routes for both items, but its chest rate is not independently verified.
- Check the Curse Market regularly. A community page reports a three-hour stock refresh and gives an example exchange of four Nature Energy Scrolls for one Domain Shard; do not assume that recipe or price is always available.
- If you missed the quest for a Dimensional Maximum Scroll, a July 2026 community guide describes a Retry NPC in the back-right of the crafting area. It reports that retries are available at level 360 or higher and can be attempted every five minutes after failure. This is not the ordinary Maximum Scroll route.
- Treat world-boss drops and crafting as possible newer routes only: the available update-log excerpt does not confirm recipes, dates, or current availability. Check the live game before relying on them.
What is known—and what is uncertain
The reported chest rate is 0.1% for each item, according to the community Progression Items reference; it is not an official, independently verified rate. Likewise, the market refresh interval and example exchange come from a community Curse Market page marked as a stub. The research found no comparable timing data to establish a fastest route, so choose based on what is currently available rather than assuming one activity produces the best gains per hour.
The sources also conflict on progression gates: an older item reference describes a max-level requirement for using Domain Shards, while a later update-log excerpt says Domain Shards and Maximum Scrolls are no longer level-locked. Confirm current requirements in-game.
FAQ
How do I get a Domain Shard?
The community item reference lists chests, map spawns, and Curse Market stock. It reports a 0.1% chest drop rate, but that figure is unverified. The available update-log excerpt also mentions world-boss drops and crafting without confirming current details.

No. The September 2026 community guide says the shard unlocks one Domain Expansion and lists eligible Innate Techniques. Check that your Innate is eligible before spending a shard.
