Resident wishes or requests are the clearest repeatable source identified for Wishing Stars. Make these your routine source rather than relying on occasional promotions. Heartopia.guide lists resident wishes alongside codes and events as possible sources, while a July 2026 currency list specifically names Resident Requests.

Check sign-in rewards, social linking, and events
A fan currency guide also reports sign-in events and social-account linking as possible Wishing Star sources. Availability and eligibility may depend on the current patch or promotion, so check the relevant in-game event or account-linking screen rather than assuming these rewards recur.

Event rewards may require a manual claim. For example, a past login-gift event listed free Wishing Stars and required players to claim them through the Event page; logging in alone was not enough. How to get more Moonlight Crystals
Check Guild sign-ins and GAMG benefits
Currency guides identify Guild sign-in rewards and GAMG membership benefits as possible Moonlight Crystal sources. A fan guide also reports small free amounts through Guild sign-ins and the Gilded Acorn Merchant. These are conditional routes, not guaranteed payouts: check the current in-game reward screen and membership terms for what is available to your account.

Look for event and mailbox gifts
Limited-time events or messages can include Moonlight Crystals. Check the live Event page and in-game mailbox, and claim any reward before its stated deadline. A thank-you login reward recorded by Heartopia Guide had a claim period ending August 29, 2026, so that past gift is no longer evidence of an active offer.

Exchange Heart Diamonds only after checking the store
Heart Diamonds can be exchanged for Moonlight Crystals. Heartopia.guide reported a common rate of 1 Heart Diamond to 10 Moonlight Crystals in its January 2026 guide, but explicitly notes that the rate may change. Confirm the current exchange rate in the in-game store before converting; do not budget around the older figure.

Are there active Heartopia codes for either currency?
Codes may grant Wishing Stars or Moonlight Crystals, but their validity and rewards change. No current code-and-reward combination is confirmed here from an official source. Check official Heartopia announcements and verify any code in-game before counting on it; avoid relying on old code lists as proof that a reward is still claimable.
Promotions can offer a one-time bonus rather than a lasting source. For instance, the official XD Games team event offered Wishing Star ×10 for a qualifying team milestone during July 9–August 3, 2026 (UTC−5). That event has ended; it does not establish a standing reward. See the official team-event page.

Event tokens and other promotional rewards are not automatically interchangeable with either currency. Follow the reward description in-game rather than assuming a token can be converted.
Can a product or accessory help you earn these currencies?
No physical product is established as a way to increase either currency. The documented routes involve in-game requests, sign-ins or membership benefits, limited-time promotions, and an in-game exchange. A generic phone, controller, or gaming accessory does not provide a verified currency-earning advantage.
