On Windows, press F11 to toggle Roblox out of fullscreen and return to a windowed view. This changes the display mode; it does not leave the experience.
How do I exit fullscreen in Roblox on Windows?
- While Roblox is open, press F11. Roblox documents F11 as the Windows fullscreen-mode shortcut in its input reference.
- If your keyboard uses a function-key layer, press the key combination that sends F11; some keyboards require holding Fn.
Press F11 again to toggle fullscreen back on.
How do I make Roblox not full screen without leaving the game?
Use F11, not the Leave command. Press Esc to open Roblox’s menu, but choose Leave only if you want to exit the experience. Roblox also documents L as a leave shortcut; either way, a confirmation follows. See Roblox Support’s instructions for leaving an experience.
What about mobile devices and consoles?
Roblox’s API reference says fullscreen is always enabled on mobile devices and consoles. The consulted Roblox documentation does not provide a corresponding toggle for those platforms; the F11 instruction is specifically for Windows.
What if F11 does not change the display?
First check that the keyboard is sending F11; try holding Fn if your keyboard has a function-key layer. If fullscreen was started by your web browser rather than Roblox, this Roblox shortcut reference does not establish the browser’s control, so the applicable steps may differ.
