Unlock Polymer in the Technology menu at level 33, then make it at a Production Assembly Line. The listed ingredients differ between current item databases: some say each Polymer needs 2 High Quality Pal Oil and 1 Sulfur, while others list 2 High Quality Pal Oil only. Check the recipe in your own game before gathering a large batch.
Unlock Polymer and choose a workstation
Current third-party item databases Pindrop.gg and PalMods place Polymer at level 33 in the Technology menu and identify the Production Assembly Line as its crafting station: Pindrop.gg’s Polymer entry and PalMods’ Polymer entry. Pocketpair’s official technology ID list includes Polymer as a technology entry but does not provide its unlock level or recipe.

Once Polymer is unlocked, build or use a Production Assembly Line and select Polymer from its recipe list. The Steam listing describes Palworld’s production systems generally, but does not confirm Polymer’s specific crafting details: Palworld on Steam.

Check the ingredient list in your game
Sources disagree about whether Sulfur is required. Pindrop.gg and PalMods list 2 High Quality Pal Oil plus 1 Sulfur for one Polymer; Palpedia and Game8 list 2 High Quality Pal Oil without Sulfur. Compare the recipe shown at your Production Assembly Line with this source comparison before farming:
#1 Best Overall
| Source | Ingredients listed for one Polymer |
|---|---|
| Pindrop.gg (2026) | 2 High Quality Pal Oil + 1 Sulfur |
| PalMods (2026) | 2 High Quality Pal Oil + 1 Sulfur |
| Palpedia (2026) | 2 High Quality Pal Oil; Sulfur not listed |
| Game8 (publication date not shown in the search result) | 2 High Quality Pal Oil; Sulfur not listed |
These listings do not establish which recipe applies to every game version. Pocketpair’s v1.0.3 patch notice demonstrates that game details can change, but it does not mention Polymer: the patch notice. Treat the in-game recipe as the check for your installed build.
Gather the materials and craft Polymer
- Open the Technology menu and unlock Polymer at level 33, as listed by the current third-party item databases.
- Build or access a Production Assembly Line.
- Select Polymer and read the ingredient requirements displayed there. High Quality Pal Oil appears in every recipe source reviewed; gather Sulfur too if your game lists it.
- Provide the displayed ingredients and start production. Pindrop.gg and PalMods describe their listed recipe as yielding one Polymer.
What Polymer is used for
Polymer is a production material used in advanced crafting. Guides cite firearms and Circuit Board-related production as examples, but those examples are not an exhaustive recipe list. Check the relevant crafting recipe in your game to see its current requirements.
