Warframe’s item is called a Riven Sliver, not a “Riven Splicer.” The documented ways to get Slivers are killing eligible Eximus enemies and opening Requiem Relics. Eximus can drop them in missions at level 30 or higher; Digital Extremes’ Update 32 lists a 2% chance per eligible Eximus. Requiem Relics remain another route, but the old Requiem I–IV relics were later replaced in drop tables by Requiem Eterna Relics.
How to get Riven Slivers
Kill level 30-or-higher Eximus
Play missions where Eximus enemies are level 30 or above. Digital Extremes’ Update 32 patch notes state that eligible regular and Steel Path Eximus each have a 2% chance to drop a Riven Sliver after the rate increase. This is a chance per eligible enemy, not a guarantee for each mission; a mission with no eligible Eximus, or no successful drop, will yield none from this route.

Open Requiem Relics
Requiem Relics are also a documented source. Update 26 introduced Riven Slivers in its discussion of Riven Relics, and subsequent updates identify the Requiem relic route. Relic contents have since changed: Update 42 removed Requiem I, II, III, and IV from drop tables and replaced them with Requiem Eterna Relics. Check the relic’s current in-game reward details rather than following older instructions that rely on retired relic types.
Which farming route should you use?
| Route | What it requires | What is established |
|---|---|---|
| Eximus drops | A mission with Eximus at level 30 or higher | Update 32 lists a 2% chance for regular and Steel Path Eximus; it is a per-enemy chance, not a mission guarantee. |
| Requiem Relic rewards | A relevant Requiem Relic to open | Riven Slivers are a documented relic reward. Update 42 replaced the old Requiem I–IV drop-table entries with Requiem Eterna Relics; consult the current in-game reward list. |
Neither route can be called objectively faster from these published details alone: the Eximus route depends on encountering eligible enemies and the per-enemy chance, while the relic route depends on the relic and its current reward table.

Where to spend Riven Slivers
Visit Palladino at Iron Wake and check her current shop. Her stock, prices, and purchase limits have changed over time. Update 27 documented an exchange of 10 Slivers for one Riven, limited to one per week at that time; treat that as a historical offer, not a guarantee of today’s cost or cap. Update 42 later expanded the shop to include items such as Riven Ciphers, Riven Transmuters, Requiem Ultimatums, Endo, retired Requiem Relics, and decorations, with individual limits. The live vendor menu is the reliable place to confirm what is currently available.
Accessing Palladino and avoiding a quest-reward mix-up
Palladino’s shop is at Iron Wake. Warframe Support’s Chains of Harrow FAQ describes the shop’s quest access and says completing Chains of Harrow is required for the purchase listed there. The FAQ also discusses a separate conditional Melee Riven reward from the quest: to receive it, buy Harrow from the Market before first completing Chains of Harrow. Buying Harrow afterward and replaying the quest does not grant that quest reward. This is separate from farming Riven Slivers.
