That schedule comes from the secondary event tracker Leek Duck, so confirm the event and local timing in Pokémon GO. The game’s current season page does not confirm Rookidee in the ordinary wild or Egg pools.
How to get Rookidee in Pokémon GO now
Check the in-game event details and Nearby screen for the reported Dynamax Rookidee Max Battles running October 12–18, 2026. Leek Duck lists Rookidee as the featured Pokémon for Max Monday on October 12 as well. These are upcoming, time-limited opportunities as of October 8, not a permanent availability guarantee; verify dates and availability in your game. Leek Duck’s event listing is the secondary source for this schedule.

Pokémon GO’s official Twilight Trails season page says seasonal rotations affect which Pokémon appear in the wild and hatch from Eggs. It covers September 8 through December 1, 2026, but does not identify Rookidee as a current standard spawn or Egg hatch. That omission does not prove Rookidee is unavailable; check live in-game listings and event announcements rather than assuming either way.
Rookidee’s past event methods
Steeled Resolve: Eggs, Magnetic Lures, and GO Battle League
Rookidee debuted during Steeled Resolve, which ran January 21–26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. on the first day to 8:00 p.m. on the last day, local time. The event announcement listed hatching 2 km Eggs and using a Magnetic Lure Module to attract Rookidee. The Pokémon Company’s recap also said Rookidee could appear in GO Battle League reward encounters at all ranks during the event, more frequently in the premium track. Community Day: wild encounters and Field Research
Rookidee was featured in Community Day on August 30, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time. It appeared more frequently in the wild, and event-themed Field Research could reward Rookidee encounters. That event has ended; its methods are useful as historical context, not live instructions. Details are in the official Rookidee Community Day announcement.

How to keep track of availability
- Use the in-game event details and Nearby screen to check what is available locally and at that time.
- Read the dates and local-time window on each event announcement: event-specific encounters can end when the event does.
- Expect wild and Egg lineups to rotate. Pokémon GO’s Help Center notes that environmental conditions affect wild encounters and that events can help players find particular Pokémon: Pokémon GO Help Center.
