You can’t get Sweeping Edge as a functioning enchantment in vanilla Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Minecraft Help lists it as available only in Java Edition. Bedrock’s enchanting table, villager trades, anvil, and /enchant command do not provide a way around that restriction.
Why Sweeping Edge is unavailable in Bedrock
Sweeping Edge increases sweeping attack damage, but Minecraft Help labels the enchantment “Available only in Java Edition (Max enchantment level: 3).” The listed level III is Java’s maximum; it does not mean the enchantment can be obtained in Bedrock. Minecraft Help’s enchantment list does not give a publication date for this information.

Can a book, villager, anvil, or command give it to you?
No—not through vanilla Bedrock’s normal enchantment methods. Bedrock supports several ways to enchant items, but those methods do not add a Java-only enchantment to the game.
- Enchanting table: Use experience and lapis lazuli to enchant an eligible unenchanted item.
- Librarian villager: Trade emeralds for enchanted books the villager offers.
- Anvil: Combine an item with a compatible enchanted book, or combine eligible items.
/enchantcommand: Apply an enchantment to the item in your main hand when using the command.
These are general Bedrock enchantment routes, not ways to obtain Sweeping Edge. Microsoft Learn describes them in its Introduction to Enchantments.

Which Bedrock sword enchantment should you use instead?
Bedrock has sword enchantments for different goals. None grants Java’s sweeping-attack feature.
