To get The Cornservant minion in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, complete the level 90 Cornservant sidequest chain, ending with Tasteful Memories. Start Corn of Necessity in Tuliyollal after completing The Rite of Succession, then progress through the chain as you advance the Dawntrail main scenario.
Where do I get the Cornservant minion?
The Cornservant minion is a reward from the final quest in the Cornservant sidequest chain. It is not a vendor or Market Board purchase: Square Enix lists the item as Unique, Untradable, and unavailable for purchase on the official Lodestone item record.

How to start the Cornservant quest chain
- Complete The Rite of Succession. This is the prerequisite for the chain’s opening quest.
- Go to Tuliyollal. Speak with The Cornservant at X:16.4, Y:12.8 and accept Corn of Necessity, a level 90 quest. See the Corn of Necessity quest reference for its listed prerequisite and location.
- Continue the quests in order. Later quests become available as you advance through the Dawntrail main scenario.

The quest series is listed as Patch 7.0 content. The Cornservant quest reference gives the chain order, while the Tasteful Memories quest reference lists the final quest’s location, prerequisite, and reward.
Don’t confuse the minion reward with the later Cornservant quest
Patch 7.2 added a separate Cornservant quest, When Death Comes to Dinner, which rewards The Deathservant and Tacos de Carne Asada. It is distinct from the Patch 7.0 Tasteful Memories quest that grants The Cornservant minion. Square Enix’s Patch 7.2 feature page covers the later update.
