Before you start
- Play Black Ops 6 Zombies on Terminus; this is a side Easter egg, not the Shattered Veil Main Quest.
- Get Melee Macchiato. Its machine is on the lower north side of the Bio Lab.
- For the skeleton step, you need three Molotovs. The indexed Game8 walkthrough says they can be crafted at a Crafting Table for 350 Salvage each, starting at Level 32. You can craft them at different times rather than all at once.
Reveal Captain Gregg’s map
- Go to the Sea Caves and find the cracked wall on the west side, near Speed Cola.
- Melee the wall while you have Melee Macchiato to reveal Captain Gregg and the treasure map.
Find the randomized watch
- Read the X on Captain Gregg’s map. It marks the watch’s location for your match; it is randomized, so do not rely on a fixed coordinate from another run.
- Take a Tactical Raft to the marked shore and search underwater nearby for the glowing watch.
- Return to Captain Gregg and interact with the map to advance the quest.
Collect the three Cursed Coins
Visit the three crew skeleton locations—Temple Island, Castle Rock Island, and the Shipwreck—in any order. At each site, throw a Molotov onto the skeleton, defeat the special zombie that appears, and collect the Cursed Coin it drops.

Return the coins and follow the final X
Once you have all three coins, return to Captain Gregg and interact with him or the map. The walkthrough reports that he drops legendary-rarity weapons and reveals the final X. Follow that mark to Crab Island.
Survive three full rounds at Crab Island
Stay on Crab Island for three complete rounds. Count the round you arrive in: if you get there during round 14, play through rounds 14, 15, and 16. The chest appears when round 17 begins. Interact with the chest and take the Cursed Talisman.
