Check the name of your active quest before heading out: Prince Ryong’s meeting location depends on the quest. For the early encounters, go to Makom Bar; during The Fires of Industry, go to Weaver Tower. Follow the active quest marker if it points somewhere different.
Where to meet Prince Ryong by quest
| Active quest | When the meeting becomes available | Destination |
|---|---|---|
| As Above, So Below | After completing The Mother | Makom Bar |
| A Star of Cold Aspect | When the quest objective asks you to meet Ryong | Makom Bar |
| The Fires of Industry | After completing In Chains of Lead and Gold | Weaver Tower |
These are separate quest objectives, not alternative directions for the same meeting. Walkthroughs from Into Indie Games cover As Above, So Below, while its A Star of Cold Aspect guide also names Makom Bar. The guide for The Fires of Industry points to Weaver Tower after In Chains of Lead and Gold.
How to choose the right destination
- Open your quest log and check which quest is active.
- Match that quest to the destination in the table: Makom Bar for the two early meeting objectives, or Weaver Tower for The Fires of Industry.
- Use the active quest marker for the final route. The walkthroughs do not establish detailed floor-by-floor directions inside either location, and a marker that differs from a guide is the more relevant cue for your current game state.
For A Star of Cold Aspect, the walkthrough says a quest marker appears after leaving the meeting location to guide you toward the next destination.
Who is Ryong?
Paradox Interactive’s Camarilla Court developer diary identifies Ryong Choi as a Ventrue and Seneschal, describing her as a modern, efficient, pragmatic dealmaker. Walkthroughs refer to her as “Prince Ryong,” but the official character description calls her Seneschal; the available sources do not explain the difference, so it is best not to infer a story-stage reason.

In the diary, Ryong tells the player character: “I’m not sure you grasp the situation. You will act in this as my agent, and in return you will gain both the benefits and responsibilities of that. It is not negotiable. You could, of course, refuse. But the sun is rising.”

No special edition is identified as a requirement for this quest. Paradox’s official game page describes a limited physical Premium Edition, but that product information does not make it necessary for the in-game meeting.
