Khaby Lame’s Fortnite Outfit first appeared in the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass. That pass is no longer the route to unlock it: Epic says Battle Pass items may appear in the Item Shop at least 18 months after a pass expires, but it does not guarantee a return. Check Fortnite’s live in-game Shop to see whether the Outfit is available before buying V-Bucks or a gift card.
How Khaby Lame was originally added to Fortnite
Epic Games announced Khaby Lame as an Icon Series addition and a Battle Pass Outfit for Chapter 4 Season 4: Last Resort on August 25, 2023. The original way to earn the Outfit was through that season’s Battle Pass. Epic’s Chapter 4 Season 4 announcement confirms his inclusion.

That historical route does not mean the old Battle Pass can still be purchased. For a chance to get the Outfit now, the relevant place to check is the current Item Shop.

Is the Khaby Lame skin available now?
Its current availability and price are unconfirmed here. An Item Shop search result that does not show the Outfit is not enough to establish that it is unavailable, so check the live Shop in Fortnite rather than relying on an old listing or buying currency based on an assumption.

Could the Outfit return to the Item Shop?
Possibly, but there is no guarantee. Epic’s current Battle Pass page says: “The items in a Battle Pass may be available for purchase in the Fortnite Shop at least 18 months after the Battle Pass expires.” The word “may” matters: the 18-month threshold makes later Shop availability possible, not certain, and it does not confirm a return date for Khaby Lame’s Outfit.

What to do if it appears in the Shop
- Open Fortnite’s Item Shop. Confirm that the Khaby Lame Outfit is listed before spending money.
- Check the displayed price and your balance. The current price is not established here; use the amount shown in your own Shop.
- Add funds only if needed. V-Bucks are Fortnite’s in-game currency and can be used to buy Outfits and other items. A Fortnite gift card can fund Fortnite purchases, but neither V-Bucks nor a card directly unlocks this specific Outfit. Epic’s V-Bucks information and gift-card announcement explain those purchase options. Card availability and format vary by region, and account and platform conditions may apply.
- Purchase the Outfit in the Shop if it is offered. Funding your account ahead of time does not reserve the item or ensure it will be available.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
