The reward was part of the Marvel Rivals Season One Discord Quest, which was reported as available from January 10 through January 16, 2025. There is no verified rerun as of September 2026.
If you claimed the reward previously, you may still be able to equip it in Discord. Standard Nitro can also extend or restore some previously claimed Quest decorations, but it cannot unlock a reward that you never earned and claimed.

What was the Jeff the Land Shark decoration?
This reward is a Discord avatar decoration, not a Marvel Rivals skin or in-game cosmetic. It adds a Jeff-themed effect around your Discord profile avatar. After a Discord Quest reward is claimed, Discord adds it to the account associated with the Quest.
It is separate from Marvel Rivals sprays, emojis, emotes, titles, nameplates, and costumes. For example, later Jeff rewards announced by Marvel Rivals, including sprays, emojis, and emotes, do not unlock this Discord decoration.
#1 Best Overall
- VACUUM PACKAGING: Because it is a relatively large plush stuffed toy, vacuum packaging is used for transportation. When you open the packaging after receiving the product, please pat it and leave the toy for 1 to 2 days to restore the shape shown in the picture
- PREMIUM MATERIAL: Cute blue shark plush pillow toy using two-color short plush, fully showing the dark and light blue of the sea. Stretchy super soft fabric, filled with soft pp cotton inside. Not afraid to stretch, not afraid to squeeze, feel smooth and comfortable, skin-friendly fluffy
- MULTI PURPOSE: 39.3inch/100cm large size suitable for hugging and leaning, but also a good decoration for beds, sofas and cars. Suitable for bedroom, living room, home, office, car, travel and other places
- REALISTIC SHARK DESIGN: The plush animal has a cool shark design with vivid eyes and sharp teeth making the toy look more realistic. Shark plush pillow abdomen is full of elasticity, in line with the human body structure, very suitable for children to hold or lie down to play and sleep
- MULTIFUNCTIONAL PLUSH TOY: A versatile plush toy that can be used as a toy, pillow, cushion and body pillow. Kids of all ages will love this plush toy for reading, watching TV, studying and dozing off on a big soft pillow
Is the decoration still available?
The original Quest has expired. Historical coverage reported an availability window of January 10–16, 2025, for the Season One promotion. Some reports gave exact Central Time and Pacific Time cutoffs differently, so the broad date range is the safest description.
New players cannot currently claim the decoration through the original Quest. Discord’s current Quest documentation does not provide a way to retroactively unlock an expired reward, and no legitimate 2026 rerun has been verified.
- Never attempted the Quest: You cannot newly claim it unless Discord officially brings the promotion back.
- Completed and claimed it: Check your Discord decoration collection.
- Played the required time but never selected Claim Reward: Recovery is uncertain; completing the objective was not necessarily enough.
- Claimed it but it later disappeared: Check Discord’s decoration settings and Nitro Quest eligibility.
See Discord’s Quest FAQ for the current rules on accepting, completing, and claiming rewards.

Original promotion instructions
These steps describe how the expired promotion worked. They are useful only if Discord reinstates the Quest or if a previously completed Quest remains claimable on your account.
- Open Discord on desktop or in a browser.
- Select Discover on the left side of Discord, then open the Quests tab.
- Find the Marvel Rivals Season One Quest and select Accept Quest.
- Launch Marvel Rivals and play for at least 15 minutes while Discord was running and you were signed in.
- Return to Discord and open the Quest bar or Quest Home.
- Select Claim Reward. The decoration should then be added to your Discord account.
Historical guides sometimes recommended joining the official Marvel Rivals Discord server or linking game and Discord accounts. Those steps may be useful if a future Quest specifically requests them, but the available evidence does not establish that account linking was mandatory for every player in this promotion. Follow the eligibility and linking instructions shown on the active Quest card.

Can Nitro restore the decoration?
Only in limited circumstances. Discord’s Nitro Quest Perk may extend access to, or restore, some Quest-earned decorations. It requires standard Nitro; Nitro Basic and Nitro Classic do not qualify. The decoration must also be eligible, and you must have completed and claimed the original Quest.
Nitro cannot grant Jeff to someone who never earned and claimed the Quest. Discord also excludes some Quest decorations or keeps individual expiration rules in place. Check the Nitro Quest Perk documentation before subscribing solely for this item.
Troubleshooting for players who previously earned it
The decoration is missing
- Update and restart Discord.
- Go to User Settings → Profiles → Change Decorations.
- Check Your Decorations.
- Check both your global profile and any per-server profile.
- Confirm that you are signed into the Discord account used for the Quest.
- Check whether the decoration has an expiration date or Nitro eligibility requirement.
The Quest does not appear
For the original Jeff promotion, expiration is the likely reason. For a future rerun, check Discover → Quests on desktop or browser, the Quest bar, and any mobile Quest area supported by that promotion. Discord’s Discover documentation also explains where current and claimed Quests appear.

Progress stays at zero
Possible causes include starting gameplay before accepting the Quest, Discord being closed or signed out, using the wrong Discord account, an unsupported game platform, or an expired Quest window.
- Restart and update Discord.
- Reopen the Quest page and confirm it is active.
- Accept it again if Discord provides that option.
- Start a fresh 15-minute session only while the active Quest is visible.
- If tracking still fails, contact Discord Support rather than using a third-party claim service.
Do not assume that a particular launch order, PC play, or account-linking setup is universally required unless the active Quest’s own terms say so.

Can console players complete it?
Historical coverage did not conclusively establish whether PlayStation or Xbox gameplay would track when Discord was running on a separate phone or computer. If a similar Quest returns, check its supported-platform rules, link accounts only through official instructions, and verify that progress is moving before spending the required playtime. Discord running on a phone does not automatically guarantee that console gameplay will track.

I completed the objective but never claimed the reward
Discord distinguishes between completing a Quest and claiming its reward. Since the decoration was added only after selecting Claim Reward, playing for 15 minutes alone may not have been sufficient. Search Quest Home and your claimed Quest history, but because the promotion is expired, there is no guarantee that Discord will still offer a claim button.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Avoid fake Jeff decoration claim links
An expired free cosmetic is a common lure for account-stealing pages and bots. Use only Discord’s own Quest interface and official Marvel Rivals channels.
- Never provide your Discord password, token, or authentication codes.
- Never authorize an unknown bot or application to “verify” the reward.
- Do not download a launcher, browser extension, or file offered as a claim tool.
- Do not pay a third-party seller or account service; the reward is account-bound and cannot legitimately be transferred.
- Treat any page promising an instant unlock of the expired decoration as suspicious.
Buying a Marvel Rivals cosmetic will not unlock a Discord avatar decoration. Similarly, later Jeff sprays, emojis, emotes, titles, and costumes belong to different reward systems and are not substitutes for this item.
