This is a historical method: the item history records the weapon as vaulted in v38.00, and Fortnitemares 2025 was scheduled to run through November 1, 2025.
How to get the Mythic Thorn Ripper
- In Chapter 6 Season 4, find Mother of Thorns at one of the season-recorded locations: Freaky Fields, Gourdy Gate, or Thorny Throne. These are historical map locations, not current callouts. Fortnite Wiki’s item history records the seasonal acquisition method and vaulting; its Mother of Thorns page lists the locations.
- Defeat Mother of Thorns. The Mythic Thorn Ripper was a boss reward, rather than an ordinary chest pickup.
- Collect the weapon after the fight. The historical item record says it was introduced in v37.50 and vaulted in v38.00.
Who was Mother of Thorns?
Epic Games identified Mother of Thorns as Doja Cat’s character in Fortnitemares 2025. Epic’s event announcement, published October 9, 2025, said the event ran through November 1, 2025. That event window and the season’s item history make this a past seasonal method, not evidence that the weapon is available now.

What the Mythic Thorn Ripper did
The Thorn Ripper was a Mythic melee weapon. It had a melee attack and a secondary pull action that could draw opponents, teammates, and items toward the player. Its historical maximum stack was one. Damage values changed across updates, so older figures should not be treated as a single fixed stat without specifying the version.

Is the Thorn Ripper available now?
The cited item history records the Thorn Ripper as vaulted in v38.00. The available evidence does not verify a later return or current live-game availability. Check current official Fortnite patch notes or the live game for confirmation before looking for it; the Chapter 6 Season 4 locations and boss reward instructions are historical.
