Find the Closed Exhibit floorplan in the Study safe, draft it so a neighboring room can open into its solid back wall, then use the security panel behind it to lower the barrier and reset the system. The standard window is short; a guide reports a longer 60-second window at a specific in-game time.
1. Find the Closed Exhibit floorplan
Locate the floorplan in the safe in the Study. Finding it adds the Closed Exhibit to the Estate’s draft pool. The room directory describes it as “A painstakingly produced accurate reproduction of one of the so-called ‘Closed’ Exhibits of the Fenn Aries Royal Museum.” Blue Prince Wiki.gg’s Closed Exhibit entry attributes that wording to the Room Directory.

2. Draft the room so you can reach its back wall
The security panel is behind the Closed Exhibit, on its otherwise solid back side. To expose it, draft a neighboring room with a doorway that connects into that wall. Avoid placing the exhibit at an edge or in a layout that leaves its back inaccessible. Plan the adjoining rooms so you can make a short, clear run from the panel back through the exhibit to the crown. The short standard timer makes unnecessary turns and obstructions risky. 3. Open the barrier and run for the crown
- Enter the neighboring room and reach the security panel behind the Closed Exhibit.
- Use the panel to lower the barrier.
- Reset the alarm/security system, then immediately run through the exhibit to the Paper Crown.
- Collect the crown before the system reactivates.
The wiki walkthrough reports a 10-second window for a standard attempt. If the timer runs out while you are in the protected area, a cage can block the crown. Reset the system and try again with a clearer route or the longer timing window described below. Source: Blue Prince Wiki.gg walkthrough.

4. Use the reported 60-second timing window if needed
The same wiki walkthrough reports that resetting the system between 1:28:20 PM and 1:35:00 PM in-game gives a 60-second window instead of the standard 10 seconds. It says this longer window applies only the first time that time window is reached in a day. Treat this as a guide-reported game mechanic, not an independently verified timing test. While drafting, the Paper Crown gives you a free redraw if none of the first three offered floorplans is a Red Room. According to the item reference, the redraw option does not appear if you have already used a redraw in that draft. Blue Prince Wiki.gg’s Paper Crown entry describes the effect and its limitation.
