The free event that awarded Peelverine Plush ended on August 16, 2024. Fortnite’s item page listed the Back Bling for 400 V-Bucks through September 19, 2026, but that purchase window has also passed. As of October 8, 2026, check the in-game Item Shop for a current listing; a return is not confirmed.
Can you still get Peelverine Plush for free?
No. Epic’s free reward was tied to the Disney Horizons Live from D23 island in August 2024, and the event island was available only through August 16, 2024. To earn the reward at the time, players had to visit the island for 10 minutes. Epic scheduled delivery of the Back Bling and XP for August 16.

The 10-minute requirement was a visit to the island; Epic’s announcement did not say players had to watch the presentation for all 10 minutes. The promotion is over, so entering the old island code now does not provide that expired reward route.
How could players join the 2024 event?
Epic’s August 8, 2024 announcement gave two ways to find the island:
#1 Best Overall
- Super-Soft, Huggable 7-inch Plush
- High-Quality Materials
- Collectible Boogie Bomb
- Official Licensed Product
- More Styles Coming Soon
- Open the Discover Homebar in Fortnite and select Disney Horizons Live from D23.
- Enter island code 7908-6413-2516.
The presentation looped through August 16, 2024. Those instructions describe the past event, not a current way to claim the cosmetic.
Can you buy the Back Bling now?
Fortnite’s official item listing identifies Peelverine Plush as a Marvel Series Back Bling in the Meowtooth set, introduced in Chapter 5, Season 4. The listing showed an individual price of 400 V-Bucks and a stated purchase window ending September 19, 2026. That date has passed, so the listing does not establish that the item is currently purchasable.
Rank #2
- Super-Soft, Huggable Plush for All Ages
- 8” tall Plush
- Collectible Lil Whip Plush
- High-Quality Materials
- Official Licensed Product.
Check the live in-game Item Shop to see whether it is available today. Epic said the item was not exclusive to the D23 livestream and “may be purchasable in the Shop at a later date,” but that wording is not a promise that it will return. The Fortnite Item Shop is the place to verify current availability.
Individual item or bundle?
| Option | Listed price | Availability context |
|---|---|---|
| Peelverine Plush Back Bling | 400 V-Bucks | Official item page’s stated purchase window ended September 19, 2026. |
| Meowtooth Bundle, including Peelverine Plush | 2,300 V-Bucks | Official listing included the Back Bling in the bundle; current availability is not established. |
These are the prices shown on Fortnite’s official item listing, not confirmation that either option is currently in the Shop.

Will a physical plush or another product unlock it?
Peelverine Plush is a digital Fortnite cosmetic. A physical plush toy, controller, or gaming guide does not grant the Back Bling; acquisition depends on the event or an eligible Item Shop listing.
