To earn the Slasher Clown Outfit in GTA Online, complete 10 waves in a Survival without dying during the scheduled October 29–November 4, 2026 challenge. The challenge also awards GTA$250,000. As of October 7, 2026, that window has not opened, so the reward is not yet available through this challenge.
2026 unlock requirement and dates
The scheduled challenge is to complete 10 Survival waves without dying. Rockstar’s event details, linked from the Steam-hosted GTA V community announcement, list the challenge period as October 29–November 4, 2026, with the Slasher Clown Outfit and GTA$250,000 as rewards.
The announcement gives calendar dates but does not specify a start or end time, timezone, required Survival map, or whether all 10 waves must be completed in one uninterrupted session. It also does not state a solo or group requirement. Do not assume those details; check the live challenge description in GTA Online when the event begins.
How to approach the challenge when it opens
- After October 29, open GTA Online and check the active weekly challenge or event details for the Slasher Clown Outfit requirement.
- Start a Survival and complete 10 waves without dying. The published condition does not name a particular map.
- Check the in-game challenge or reward notifications to confirm completion and receipt of the outfit and GTA$250,000.
The public announcement does not provide exact menu labels or a reward-delivery timeframe for this 2026 challenge, so the live in-game event listing is the best place to verify its status.

Do not confuse it with the 2025 Vinewood Undead Collection
Rockstar Support’s 2025 Vinewood Undead Collection instructions describe a different seasonal reward route. That collection required completing the first three Halloween Weekly Challenges during their respective periods: a two-wave Survival challenge from October 2–8, three Taxi Fares from October 9–15, and one Adversary Mode win from October 16–22, 2025. Rockstar said individual challenge rewards were immediate and the collection would be awarded within 72 hours after all three challenges were completed.
| Event | Challenge period | Requirement | Reward |

The 2025 instructions are not the 2026 Slasher Clown unlock condition. The available event information also does not establish whether the outfit can be obtained after the 2026 challenge window ends.
