The Star Guardian Jinx Mythic Chroma has been sold through League of Legends’ Mythic Shop, but Riot’s patch notes document past appearances—not whether it is available now. Check the Mythic Shop in the League client; if it is listed, use Mythic Essence and follow the cost and timer shown there.
How to get the chroma if it is available
- Open the League of Legends client and go to the Mythic Shop.
- Look for Star Guardian Jinx Mythic Chroma. If it appears, check the displayed price and availability timer.
- If you have enough Mythic Essence, purchase it from the shop. Riot’s current listing in the client is the relevant guide to the live cost and window.
Riot describes the Mythic Shop as a place where players can spend Mythic Essence, and its Patch 14.24 notes say the Sanctum is the primary way to obtain the currency. That does not make any particular chroma continuously available or guarantee its return. Riot’s Patch 14.24 notes
What Riot’s patch notes establish
| Patch | What Riot listed | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| 12.14 | Star Guardian Jinx Mythic Chroma + Icon for 40 Mythic Essence, available until Patch 12.16. | The clearest official record of its listed price and first identified shop window. Patch 12.14 notes |
| 12.16 | Star Guardian Jinx Mythic Chroma + Icon appeared on the list of items leaving the Mythic Shop. | The original listed window ended. Patch 12.16 notes |
| 13.18 | Mythic Chroma Star Guardian Jinx appeared in the Mythic Shop’s “Now Available” list. | Riot documented a later rotation, but the cited listing does not state its price or end date. Patch 13.18 notes |
These are historical listings. They do not confirm the shop’s inventory on October 8, 2026, or give a date for the chroma’s next return. Check the client for current availability.
What the Mythic Chroma changes
Riot says Mythic Chromas update a skin’s visual effects as well as its model, so this is more than a color-only change. Riot’s Mythic Chroma explanation The Patch 12.14 listing paired the Jinx chroma with an icon; Riot later noted updates to the Star Guardian Jinx Mythic Chroma Icon in Patch 12.20. Patch 12.20 notes
