On Wii U, it was made available as a free software update to owners of Minecraft: Wii U Edition. The Wii U eShop stopped accepting purchases on March 27, 2023, so that legacy route is not a way for new players to buy the game today.

Open the game and look for the Super Mario Mash-Up content. Nintendo lists the pack as pre-installed with the game, so you do not need to buy it separately. Nintendo notes that other DLC packs included with the base-game purchase must be downloaded from the in-game store; that instruction does not apply to the pre-installed Mario pack. Nintendo’s Switch product listing
Nintendo describes the pack as a custom Mario-themed world with 40 character skins and 15 music tracks. The listing does not give a publication date for those figures. Nintendo’s Switch product listing

Can you move the Wii U pack or world to Switch?
No: Nintendo does not provide a transfer path from Wii U worlds to the 2018 Minecraft for Nintendo Switch. Nintendo distinguishes that from conversion support for worlds made in the 2017 Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition. Owning the Wii U version does not itself transfer its world to the current Switch game. Nintendo’s Switch product listing
