Progress through the game until you can obtain the Zenith, a post-Moon Lord weapon.

If you still need to craft it, make the Zenith from its ten sword components at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil. The recipe requires the Copper Shortsword, Enchanted Sword, Bee Keeper, Starfury, Seedler, The Horseman’s Blade, Influx Waver, Star Wrath, Meowmere, and Terra Blade. See the Zenith recipe.

If you lost or discarded the Copper Shortsword
The Copper Shortsword is one of the Zenith’s required components. New non-Journey characters receive one when created; Journey Mode characters start with an Iron Shortsword instead. You can craft a replacement Copper Shortsword from five Copper Bars (15 Copper Ore) at an Anvil. The Copper Shortsword reference covers its crafting recipe.
If your world has Tin instead of Copper and you discarded the original, the Zenith crafting guide describes ways to obtain Copper, including an Extractinator, another world, slime drops, fishing crates, Shimmer transmutation, or a Chlorophyte Extractinator.
What the True Copper Shortsword does
It retains the Zenith’s combat functionality while using the Copper Shortsword’s appearance in its attack animation. The official item page lists 190 melee damage, 6.5 knockback, 14% critical chance, 30 use time, and 32 effective velocity; these are in-game item statistics, not real-world performance measures.

Can you reverse the transformation?
Yes. Throwing the True Copper Shortsword into Shimmer decrafts it into the swords used in the Zenith recipe. Do not do this if you want to keep the True Copper Shortsword.
