For Horde characters who have started the Zuldazar introduction, take the Zandalar or Zuldazar portal in Orgrimmar’s portal room. If the portal is unavailable, Blizzard Support lists a boat from the Echo Isles in Durotar as an alternative. Your arrival point may be the Zuldazar pier, so check your map or use a flight path to reach your destination.
Use the Orgrimmar portal
- Travel to Orgrimmar’s portal room.
- Take the portal labeled for Zandalar or Zuldazar.
- After arriving, check the in-game map to confirm your location and continue to your destination. Dazar’alor is the Horde hub in Zuldazar, with facilities and portals back to Orgrimmar described in Blizzard’s Zuldazar Visitor’s Guide.
Blizzard Support’s route guidance says the return portal is available once you have started or completed the Zuldazar quest. The guidance does not identify an exact quest turn-in point or portal coordinates. Blizzard Support, article 172058
If the portal is unavailable, take the boat
Blizzard Support also lists a boat from the Echo Isles in Durotar to Zandalar. Travel to the Echo Isles and look for the boat there. The support guidance does not provide current dock coordinates or a timetable.
Where the portal may leave you
A July 2023 player report described the Orgrimmar portal depositing characters at the Zuldazar pier rather than inside the Great Seal, following patch 10.1.5 and the Horde “Time to Fly” quest. That is a historical report, not a guarantee of the portal’s current landing point. If you arrive at the pier, use your map or a flight path to reach Dazar’alor or another destination in Zuldazar. Do not confuse the travel route with old catch-up requirements
Blizzard’s March 2020 catch-up guide names “Welcome to Zuldazar” as the Horde introductory quest series. Its “Uniting Zandalar” and level 120 conditions concern that guide’s World Quest and Nazjatar catch-up instructions; they should not be treated as a current, universal checklist for unlocking the return portal.
