Black Ops 6 Drops are not permanently available. Activision runs Call of Duty viewership promotions periodically, so check Twitch’s active campaigns before spending time watching. Ordinary Black Ops 6 streams do not automatically award Drops.
Before you start: check whether a Black Ops 6 campaign is active
Open Twitch Drops Inventory and look through the active campaigns. The campaign should clearly identify:

- the watch-time or other eligibility requirement; and
- when the campaign starts and ends.
If Black Ops 6 is not listed as an active campaign, watching a Black Ops 6 stream will not create progress. Do not rely on an old promotion, a video title, or the fact that a streamer is playing Black Ops 6.
1. Use the correct Activision account
Black Ops 6 online progression and rewards are associated with your Activision account. Use the Activision account connected to the PlayStation Network, Xbox, Steam, or Battle.net account on which you intend to use the reward.
This matters if you have more than one Activision account. Linking Twitch to the wrong Activision account can send the reward to a different game profile, and changing platform connections later may not move progression or previously delivered items to the account you actually use.

Before linking anything, check that you are signed in to the intended Activision account and that its connected gaming-network account is correct.
2. Link Twitch to Activision
The official Activision linking sequence is:
- Sign in to your Twitch account.
- In the same browser, sign in to the Activision account connected to your Black Ops 6 profile.
- Open ACCOUNT LINKING in your Activision account settings.
- Select Link with Twitch Account.
- Select CONTINUE and complete Twitch’s authorization prompts.
You can also begin from Twitch by opening Drops Inventory and following the prompt to connect the game account. Afterward, verify the connection on both sides: Twitch should show the linked game account, and Activision’s account page should show Twitch as connected.
Linking accounts before watching is the safest approach. If you watch before connecting the correct accounts, progress or delivery may not behave as expected, especially when several platform or Activision accounts are involved.
3. Find a Drops-enabled Black Ops 6 stream
When the campaign is active, open the Black Ops 6 category on Twitch and choose a live participating channel. Look for one or more of these indicators:

- a Drops banner on the channel; or
- a Drops icon in chat or around the stream listing.
Confirm that the campaign in Drops Inventory matches the reward you want. A channel can be streaming Black Ops 6 without participating in the relevant campaign, and a different Call of Duty campaign may have different requirements.
VODs, replays, and clips do not count as eligible live viewing. Twitch also limits viewers to progress toward one campaign at a time, so switching between unrelated campaigns can affect which reward receives progress.
4. Watch until the campaign requirement is complete
Leave the eligible live stream open and monitor your progress in the Drops & More panel or Twitch Drops Inventory. The amount of viewing required is set by the active campaign. Use the requirement shown on that campaign page rather than assuming it is the same as an older Black Ops 6 promotion.
Do not publish or rely on a fixed number of minutes for every Black Ops 6 Drop. Campaign rules can change. The historical launch promotion required four total hours for all four of its listed rewards, but that promotion ended on November 13, 2024; its requirement does not prove that a later campaign uses the same watch time.

Finishing the watch-time requirement does not always finish the process. When the reward becomes available, select Claim from any of these locations:
- the Twitch notification in chat;
- the Drops & More panel; or
- Drops Inventory.
Check that the reward changes from available or ready to claimed. Twitch says unclaimed rewards may remain claimable for up to seven days after a campaign ends, but the campaign’s own rules control. Claim as soon as possible rather than waiting until the final day.
6. Wait for the reward to arrive in Black Ops 6
After you claim the reward, delivery is handled by the game developer rather than Twitch. Many rewards arrive within 24–48 hours, although some are instant and others can take longer depending on the promotion.

Restarting the game or signing out and back in may help the inventory refresh, but it cannot force delivery of a reward that has not been processed. Check the appropriate in-game location based on the item type:
- Weapon blueprint: the relevant weapon’s loadout or Gunsmith menus;
- Calling card or emblem: the profile, customization, or identity menus;
- Charm: the weapon customization menu; and
- Other cosmetics: the inventory or customization section where that item type is equipped.
If Twitch shows the reward as claimed but it is still missing after the campaign’s stated delivery period, confirm the linked accounts and contact Activision support. Twitch cannot manually place an item into your Black Ops 6 inventory.
Historical Black Ops 6 launch Drops
The best-documented Black Ops 6 launch campaign ran through November 13, 2024. It included four rewards:

No watch progress is appearing
- Confirm the stream is live, not a VOD, replay, or clip.
- Check for the Drops Enabled label, banner, or icon.
- Make sure the stream is in the correct Black Ops 6 campaign and category.
- Open Drops Inventory and confirm that the campaign is active.
- Check whether another campaign is currently receiving your progress.
- Refresh Twitch or try a supported web or mobile Twitch experience.
The Drop is ready, but I cannot find the reward
Open Drops Inventory and look for the reward’s Claim button. Reaching the required watch time is not always enough; the reward must be claimed before it is sent for delivery.

Unfinished progress is lost when a campaign ends. Twitch may allow already completed but unclaimed rewards to remain available for a limited period—potentially up to seven days—but that does not preserve incomplete watch time or extend the campaign.
I claimed the Drop, but it is not in the game
First check that Twitch is linked to the Activision account connected to the platform where you play Black Ops 6. Then allow the campaign’s delivery window to pass; many rewards take 24–48 hours, while timing varies by promotion. If the item remains absent, contact Activision support with the Twitch claim status and the Activision account details. The developer, not Twitch, controls in-game delivery.

I watched from a console or smart-TV Twitch app
Twitch’s support guidance says Twitch apps on game consoles, smart TVs, and other TV apps do not support Drops at this time. Use Twitch on a supported web browser or mobile experience for linking accounts, tracking progress, and claiming the reward.
Do I need to subscribe to the streamer?
Not automatically. A Twitch subscription is not inherently required to earn a Drop. Follow the active campaign’s stated requirement, which may be watch time or another qualifying action. Do not pay for a subscription unless the campaign specifically says it is required.
