To get Ubasam Wood in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, reach the Lower Deeps and chop the pink or grey mushroom growths and red trees you find there. These targets can drop Ubasam Wood along with Wood Scraps; their exact placement can vary between worlds.
Where to find Ubasam Wood
Search the campaign’s Lower Deeps. The Crystal Descent is also associated with this resource region, so look for harvestable growths as you explore that route. Prima Games identifies the Lower Deeps as the next area after the Western Halls, but the sources do not establish a single fixed coordinate or guaranteed spawn point.

What to chop
Look for the pink or grey mushroom growths and red trees. Chop them to collect their drops; the Lower Deeps reference lists both Ubâsam Wood and Wood Scraps among the possible drops. The item is also commonly written as “Ubasam Wood.”
Why your map may look different
Resource placement is not guaranteed to appear at the same point in every run. The resource guide describes locations as likely encounters that can depend on progression, while the Lower Deeps walkthrough notes that locations vary by world. Explore the region and check its mushroom growths and red trees rather than relying on a precise map marker.
