If you mean Microsoft Solitaire Collection on a Windows PC, reinstall it from your Microsoft Store library: open the Store, sign in with the Microsoft account you used before, open Library or My Library, find the game, and select Download or Install. If it is already installed but will not open, try the repair steps below. Reinstalling the app does not guarantee that saved progress or purchases will return.
Reinstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection on Windows
- Open Start > Microsoft Store.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account you used to get the game, if prompted.
- Open Library or My Library, locate Microsoft Solitaire Collection, and select Download or Install.
- When installation finishes, open the game from Start.
Microsoft’s Store instructions say apps and games that are not installed appear in the library with a download control. Microsoft also has a Solitaire-specific Store product page. These Windows instructions apply to Windows 10 and Windows 11; Windows 10 support ended on October 14, 2025.

If Solitaire is installed but will not open
- Close the game and open it again.
- Check for Windows updates, then check Microsoft Store for updates to the game. In Store, open Library and use the available update controls.
- If the game still fails, open its app settings in Windows and look for Repair under Advanced options. If Repair does not help, try Reset, if offered.
- If it still does not work, uninstall the game and reinstall it from the Store library.
Windows does not offer Repair or Reset for every app. Reset is a troubleshooting action, not a promise that the game’s saved progress will be retained.
If the game is missing from the Store or will not install
- Make sure the Store is signed in to the Microsoft account previously used to get the game.
- If Windows recently installed updates, restart the PC and try again.
- Availability can be affected by your region, Family settings, device compatibility, whether the app remains listed in the Store, or Store authorization.
- To reset Microsoft Store, press Windows key + R, enter
wsreset.exe, and select OK. Reopen Store and search for the game again.

Android
Search Google Play for the official Microsoft Solitaire Collection listing published by Microsoft Corporation, then install it from there. A user review mentions an in-app restore-purchases option, but that is not verified Microsoft support guidance; do not rely on it as a guaranteed way to recover a purchase or progress.

iPhone or iPad
Check the App Store purchase history under the Apple Account originally used to obtain the app, then redownload it if it appears. Apple says an app may be missing from purchase history if you used another account, hid the purchase, or the app is incompatible with your device. Current availability can vary by region, and the available guidance does not establish a specific method for recovering in-game progress.

Getting the app installed again does not by itself establish that a subscription, purchase, or saved game state will be restored. Use the same platform-store account you originally used, and check the game’s own account or support options for the specific purchase or progress you are missing. The available guidance does not confirm that reinstalling restores all game data.
