To try to restore a banned Roblox account, appeal the moderation decision using the route named in Roblox’s moderation notification. Eligible cases may offer Violations & Appeals; otherwise, Roblox directs users to its Support Form. An appeal asks Roblox to review the action—it does not automatically reactivate the account or guarantee that the ban will be removed.
Choose the appeal route in your moderation notification
Start with the notification Roblox sent about the moderation action. It identifies the available appeal method for that case, so use the route stated there rather than choosing based on preference.

- Violations & Appeals: Use this if the notification provides a link to that page for the violation. Choose Appeal, explain why the decision should be reviewed, and use the page to check the appeal’s status.
- Roblox Support Form: Use this if the violation is not listed in Violations & Appeals or the notification directs you to the form. Roblox’s Contact Us page is its general support entry point.
Submit a clear account appeal
Roblox’s account moderation appeal instructions ask for the account username and a brief statement explaining why you are appealing. Submit from a valid email address associated with the account. Only the account owner may submit an account appeal.
Keep the explanation focused: identify the moderation decision you believe deserves another look and state why. Roblox asks for a brief explanation; it does not say that a particular argument or type of evidence guarantees reinstatement.

Meet the deadline and avoid duplicate appeals
Roblox’s appeal instructions state a general deadline of 30 days from the moderation action. They separately give users in the European Union six months to appeal an initial moderation action. Check the notification and current instructions for your case and region, since the available route and applicable deadline may differ.
Roblox says a moderation decision that has already been reviewed cannot be reviewed again, and duplicate appeals for the same account action will not be reviewed. Submit one complete appeal through the correct route rather than repeatedly sending the same request.

What happens after you appeal?
An appeal requests review by Roblox’s Appeals team. The team may adjust the moderation status, but Roblox explicitly says: “Submitting an appeal does not guarantee the consequence will be removed.” Reinstatement is therefore possible, not assured; submitting a request is not itself an account-reactivation step.

Roblox’s guidance also notes that some appeals may no longer apply after a short-duration consequence has already ended. The exact consequence and its status matter, so read the moderation notice rather than assuming every account restriction can be reversed in the same way.

Regional appeal rights
Roblox’s appeal guidance describes additional rights for some users. EU users may select a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body for disputes about a content moderation decision and may seek judicial redress. UK users whose account or content is actioned have a right to appeal; the guidance also describes rights related to certain reports under the UK Online Safety Act. Consult Roblox’s current regional instructions for details applicable to your case.
