Yulejacket and Santa Dogg were free Outfit rewards in Fortnite’s Winterfest 2024 Cabin, but that event ended on January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET. The original free claim window is closed. Epic said the items might later be sold in the Item Shop; it has not promised a return date or confirmed current availability.
How players claimed Yulejacket and Santa Dogg during Winterfest 2024
When Winterfest 2024 was live, players could reach the Cabin from the Snowflake tab in the Lobby of any Fortnite experience and unwrap presents. Epic named both Yulejacket and Santa Dogg among the Cabin rewards. The event announcement and its claim steps are on Epic’s Winterfest 2024 page.
- Open Fortnite and go to the Lobby.
- Select the Snowflake tab to enter the Winterfest Cabin.
- Unwrap presents in the Cabin to receive its rewards, which included Yulejacket and Santa Dogg.
Epic listed January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET as the deadline for presents. That deadline has passed, so these steps no longer provide a free claim route.
Can you still get the outfits?
The Winterfest Cabin route is over. Epic’s 2024 announcement said that presents’ items were not exclusive to Winterfest 2024 and might become purchasable in the Shop later. “Might” is not a return confirmation: Epic has not established that either outfit is currently listed or said when either could return.

| Winterfest 2024 Cabin | Ended January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET, according to Epic’s event announcement | Free during the event; no longer claimable through the Cabin |

Winterfest 2025 was a separate event
Winterfest 2025 does not reopen the 2024 reward route. Epic’s separate event ran from December 18, 2025, through January 5, 2026, at 9 AM ET. Its announcement identified Glacial Dummy after seven other presents and Cheeks after thirteen; those are different rewards, not a way to claim Yulejacket or Santa Dogg. Details are in Epic’s Winterfest 2025 announcement.
