Call of Duty: Mobile does not have a native Windows PC version, and Activision’s current support page says the game does not support emulators. GameLoop nevertheless currently advertises a PC installation for Call of Duty: Mobile. If you choose to try it, understand that this is an emulator-based route shown by GameLoop—not an officially supported PC edition according to Activision’s support documentation.

Here is the current GameLoop installation path, the hardware information it lists, and the fixes for common setup problems.

Before you install: the support-status conflict

Activision describes Call of Duty: Mobile as designed exclusively for mobile phones. Its support page answers the question “Can I use an emulator to play Call of Duty: Mobile?” with “No.”

GameLoop currently presents itself as the “official emulator” and provides a Call of Duty: Mobile PC installation page. Those statements conflict. Therefore, GameLoop is best described as a currently advertised emulator route, not as a confirmed Activision-supported or officially authorized Windows version.

How to install Call of Duty: Mobile on PC with GameLoop

  1. Download and install GameLoop from its official GameLoop listing. Run the downloaded .exe installer.
  2. Launch GameLoop.
  3. Open Game Center and search for Call of Duty: Mobile.
  4. Select the game in the results and click Install.
  5. When installation finishes, click Play.

GameLoop says keyboard and mouse controls are preconfigured and that the default key mapping and settings appear on the right side of the game window. Its listing also says those controls can be changed through the key-mapping controls. The exact labels and menu layout can vary between GameLoop builds, so do not assume that every current installation uses identical control names.

The current GameLoop Call of Duty: Mobile listing displays the following values:

Memory 8 GB RAM 16 GB RAM
Storage shown 20 MB available space 20 MB available space

These are the values displayed on GameLoop’s current product page, not an independent Activision PC specification. The 20 MB storage figure should not be treated as a realistic allowance for the emulator, game installation, updates, cache, and downloaded assets. GameLoop’s older low-FPS article instead says to have at least 10 GB free space and lists different CPU and operating-system guidance: Intel i5-6400 or better or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or better, 8 GB RAM, Windows 7 or newer, and GTX 660 or AMD 7850 or better. Because the two GameLoop sources disagree, leave substantially more than 20 MB free before installing.

Fixes for common GameLoop problems

Installation is stuck

GameLoop’s documented procedure is:

  2. Go to the Details tab.
  3. Close AndroidEmulator.exe.
  4. Exit the GameLoop tray icon.
  5. Start GameLoop again in administrator mode.

This procedure comes from GameLoop’s installation troubleshooting article.

The game is stuck at the launch screen

GameLoop’s older troubleshooting article recommends opening Settings, selecting Engine settings, setting the processor value to 4, and restarting GameLoop. If Standard Engine is running, it also recommends enabling VT. If the issue continues, GameLoop says to reinstall to another path.

The article does not explain whether “4” means four processor cores, and its labels may not match every current GameLoop build. Treat this as legacy GameLoop guidance rather than a guaranteed current menu path. See the original launch-screen troubleshooting article.

Virtualization Technology (VT) is unavailable or disabled

GameLoop identifies hardware virtualization as a performance dependency. It documents these example BIOS paths:

  • ASUS: Advanced → CPU Configuration → Intel Virtual Technology → Enabled
  • MSI: OC or Overclocking → CPU Features → SVM Mode → Enabled
  • GIGABYTE Intel: BIOS Features → Intel Virtual Technology and VT-d → Enabled
  • GIGABYTE AMD: M.I.T → Advanced Frequency Settings → Advanced CPU Core Settings → SVM → Enabled
  • Dell: Virtualization Support → Virtualization → Enabled
  • Acer: Configuration → Intel Virtualization Technology → Enabled
  • HP: Security → System Security → Virtualization Technology (VTX/VTD) → Enabled

Save and exit—GameLoop’s article specifies F10—then boot Windows and try again. BIOS names and keyboard shortcuts vary by motherboard, laptop model, and firmware version; if your menu differs, look for Intel Virtualization Technology, VT-x, AMD-V, or SVM. GameLoop’s full, dated instructions are available in its VT guide.

“Your current version is not the latest version”

For the error message “Your current version is not the latest version and will not work properly,” GameLoop recommends uninstalling GameLoop and reinstalling it from gameloop.com. Avoid relying on APK sideloading, registry edits, ADB commands, or forced installation methods: the official pages reviewed do not provide those as supported installation procedures.

FPS is too low

GameLoop’s older FPS guidance points to insufficient hardware, limited free storage, and low-voltage laptop CPUs as possible causes. It recommends keeping at least 10 GB free, reinstalling GameLoop to a faster drive, and upgrading DirectX if performance remains poor. These recommendations come from a support article dated August 2021, so they should be treated as troubleshooting suggestions rather than current performance guarantees. Read the GameLoop FPS guide.

Connection and account troubleshooting

Call of Duty: Mobile requires an internet connection. Activision recommends a strong Wi‑Fi connection for downloading and playing, and says restarting the router or device can help with connection problems. For in-game help, tap the ? icon at the top of the main lobby, then choose a category and topic. These instructions are on Activision’s current support page.

What not to assume

  • There is no verified native Windows edition of Call of Duty: Mobile in Activision’s official game information.
  • GameLoop’s “official emulator” wording does not resolve its conflict with Activision’s statement that emulators are unsupported.
  • The 20 MB figure on GameLoop’s listing is not a sensible practical storage target; GameLoop’s older guidance says at least 10 GB free.
  • Using an emulator may put you outside Activision’s supported setup, so official support and compatibility cannot be assumed.
