On Windows and Mac, PRISM’s “Restart playback when source becomes active” instructions address a media source that will not start—not transitions between videos. The right next step depends on your platform and whether you are using a mobile Video playlist or desktop Media Sources.
Android and iOS: create and order a Video playlist
PRISM’s documented mobile workflow is to create a Video playlist in My Studio, select videos, and arrange their order. The playlist is saved as one reusable item in My Studio. PRISM’s guide does not say whether items advance automatically without a gap or identify a control that prevents playback from stopping between them.
- Open My Studio and choose Playlist.
- Create a Video playlist.
- Select the videos you want to include and create the playlist.
- Adjust the video order as needed. PRISM’s guide also describes selecting positions by seeking.
- Use the saved playlist item in My Studio when you need it again.
These steps set up the documented playlist; they are not a confirmed repair for a stop between items. The guide does not document a separate autoplay or gapless-playback toggle. See PRISM’s Using Media Playlist guide for its instructions.
Windows and Mac: check whether the problem is source startup
PRISM’s desktop instructions cover a different symptom: a media source that does not play automatically after it is added in Studio Mode. If that is what you are seeing, PRISM documents these options:

- Uncheck Restart playback when source becomes active, then click OK.
- Alternatively, leave the option selected and click Apply in Studio Mode after adding the source.
- For a preview in the EDIT screen only, click Stop Media, then Restart Media.
These are source-startup and preview steps. PRISM does not say that they make one video continue into the next or fix a stop between separate playlist items. If you are using individual desktop Media Sources to sequence videos, do not treat the startup setting as a documented transition fix. See PRISM’s Media Source guide.
Do not use Music Playlist Source as a video-queue fix
PRISM’s desktop FAQ describes a Music Playlist Source for music stored on a PC or free music provided within PRISM Live Studio, with playback controllable through source hotkeys. It does not describe this feature as a video playlist or claim it solves video transitions. See the PRISM Live Studio FAQ.

What to do if playback still stops between videos
First identify your platform and playback method: mobile Video playlist, desktop Media Source, or desktop Music Playlist Source. Then match the symptom to the documented steps above. For a mobile playlist stop, PRISM’s guide does not provide a specific diagnosis or fix. For desktop, the documented controls address a source failing to start, not a transition between files.
- Note whether the stop occurs before the first video starts or only after one video ends; those are different symptoms.
- Record your device or computer platform and PRISM Live Studio version when asking PRISM support, and describe the exact playlist or source workflow.
- Do not assume that a loop option, accessory, or desktop startup setting fixes this behavior unless PRISM confirms it for your platform and version.
The official mobile documentation does not establish whether current Video playlists advance gaplessly, nor does it identify a version-specific cause for stopping between items. That leaves the cause unresolved; it does not establish that the feature cannot work.
