Select Leave Clan and confirm. If you are the Clan Founder, transfer that role to another member first unless you are the clan’s last member. Before confirming, consider that changing clans affects available perks and can lock you out of Weekly Clan Engrams until the next Weekly Reset.
How do I leave my clan in Destiny 2?
Bungie’s Destiny 2 Clans Guide confirms two supported options: leave through Destiny 2 or through the Destiny Companion, available on Bungie.net and in the mobile app. In either route, choose Leave Clan and confirm.

- In the game: Open the Clan area, select Leave Clan, then confirm.
- In the Destiny Companion: Open the clan’s controls, select Leave Clan, then confirm.
Bungie’s guide confirms these routes but does not document a complete, current sequence of screen labels for every platform. If you cannot find a specific control, use Bungie’s guide rather than relying on a potentially outdated menu path.
Are you the Clan Founder?
A Founder cannot leave or join another clan until Founder status has been reassigned to another member. The exception is when the Founder is the clan’s last member. If you are not the last member, arrange the transfer before trying to leave.

What changes when you leave?
Clan perks
Leaving a clan or joining another changes which unlocked Clan Perks are available to your characters. Consider the perks you currently use before confirming.
Weekly Clan Engrams
If you leave and join another clan, or leave and later rejoin the same clan, you cannot receive Weekly Clan Engrams again until the next Weekly Reset. If you are close to receiving an engram, waiting until after the reset may avoid losing eligibility for the current cycle. Bungie’s guide does not specify a calendar date or time for the reset in its stated rule.
