On the Garena edition, the documented path is Settings → Bind Account → Facebook. Sign in to the correct Facebook profile, approve the connection, restart the game, and test the Facebook login before deleting the app or changing phones.
Do not start by choosing Facebook from the title screen unless you are deliberately signing in to a profile already linked to that Facebook account. A different Facebook login can open a separate game profile, and Call of Duty: Mobile does not merge progress between accounts.

Before linking Facebook
- Open the game profile whose progress you want to preserve.
- Check which Facebook account is active in the Facebook app and your mobile browser.
- Record your player name, level, Player ID, and other identifying details.
- If you are using a Guest account, do not uninstall the game, clear its data, or reset the phone until the link has been tested.
Use the same Facebook account during the linking process and during your later verification. If several Facebook accounts are used on the device, sign out of the unwanted account first.

- Open Call of Duty: Mobile.
- Sign in to the existing profile containing the progress you want to keep.
- From the main screen, tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Find the account-linking or account-management control. Depending on the edition and app build, it may be shown as a Facebook or Call of Duty account button, a plus icon, or another linked-login control.
- Choose Facebook.
- Sign in to the intended Facebook account if prompted.
- Approve the requested connection.
- Wait for the game to confirm that the account has been linked.
- Close and reopen the game.
- At the login screen, select the Facebook option and sign in with the same Facebook account.
Activision confirms that a Guest player can link Facebook in-game and keep the Guest profile’s progression when it is linked for the first time. The exact button label is not guaranteed to be identical in every current build. See Activision’s account and Facebook-login guidance.

Garena edition: use Bind Account
- Open Call of Duty: Mobile and enter the profile you want to preserve.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Bind Account.
- Select Facebook.
- Sign in to Facebook and authorize the connection.
- Restart the game if prompted.
- Confirm that Facebook is associated with the intended profile.
Garena documents this specific route in its official account-binding instructions. Garena also says that only one account type can be selected in that binding flow and that the selection cannot subsequently be changed through that process. The Garena and global editions should therefore not be assumed to use identical menus.
How to verify that the link worked
- Before testing, note the profile name, Player ID, level, inventory, and progression.
- Finish linking Facebook while inside that profile.
- Fully close Call of Duty: Mobile.
- Reopen it and use the game’s logout controls if necessary.
- Select the Facebook login option.
- Sign in with the Facebook account you just linked.
- Check that the same profile, level, inventory, and progression load.
If the original profile appears, the Facebook login is accessing that profile. Linking Facebook adds a way to sign in; it does not combine two separate Call of Duty: Mobile profiles.

Why Guest players should link before changing phones
Guest progression is stored locally on the device. That makes an unlinked Guest account vulnerable if the phone is lost, replaced, reset, or its game data is removed. Activision’s guidance explains the risk in its Guest-account support article.

The safest order is:
- Continue using the existing Guest profile.
- Link Facebook from inside the game’s Settings menu.
- Restart the game.
- Test the Facebook login and confirm the old progression appears.
- Only then uninstall, clear data, or move to another device.
If an unlinked Guest profile has already disappeared after app data was deleted or the device was changed, Facebook cannot restore it unless that profile was linked beforehand. Support may ask for account information, but recovery of an unlinked locally stored Guest profile is not guaranteed.

If Facebook is already linked to another profile
Stop if the game says the Facebook account is already connected or loads an unexpected profile. Do not create another profile expecting the two sets of progress to merge.
Progress remains tied to the original Call of Duty: Mobile account. Changing to another Facebook account does not transfer the old level, items, purchases, or other progression. Activision’s current help material also says there is no normal way to unlink one Facebook profile and replace it with another.

Use this approach:
- If the Facebook account belongs to the profile you want, sign in through the Facebook option to recover that profile.
- If it is attached to an older or different profile, do not repeatedly create new accounts.
- Keep access to the profile that contains the desired progress.
- Contact Activision support for an account-linking or unlinking problem.
Do not assume that removing the game from Facebook’s connected-app list will move progress to another account. Activision includes removing Call of Duty: Mobile from Facebook’s Apps and Websites list as part of its Facebook-login switching procedure, but it does not transfer progression between separate Facebook accounts.
If the Facebook button is missing
The missing control does not necessarily mean that Facebook linking is unavailable. The player may be viewing the login screen instead of the in-game Settings menu, using the Garena edition, or seeing a different interface after an update.

- Return to the main game screen.
- Tap the gear icon and inspect the upper area of Settings.
- Look for an account, plus, Facebook, or linked-login icon.
- If you use Garena, specifically look for Bind Account.
- Update Call of Duty: Mobile through the official app store.
- Make sure Facebook is installed, updated, and signed in to the intended account.
- Restart the phone and try again.
- Do not clear Call of Duty: Mobile’s data while the profile is still Guest.
- If the control remains unavailable, contact the support team for your edition.
Account controls can also be unavailable because Facebook is already linked to the current profile or because the account is in a state where another binding cannot be added.
If the game opens the wrong Facebook account
Usually, the phone is passing the wrong Facebook session to the game, or the Facebook account is already associated with another Call of Duty: Mobile profile.
- Do not delete the profile containing your desired progress.
- Sign out of Facebook in both the Facebook app and your mobile browser.
- In Facebook, open Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Remove the Call of Duty: Mobile connection only if you intentionally need to switch Facebook logins and understand that this will not transfer progress.
- Restart Call of Duty: Mobile.
- Sign in to the original game profile that contains your progress.
- Retry the link with the intended Facebook account.
If the intended Facebook account is already tied to another game profile, stop and use Activision’s support options rather than making duplicate profiles.
Facebook login versus an Activision account
These are different account choices:
- Facebook linking: Adds Facebook as a login method for the Call of Duty: Mobile profile.
- Activision or Call of Duty account: Uses Activision’s own account system as another possible recovery method, where supported by the edition and account state.
- Guest: Keeps progression locally and carries the greatest risk if the device or app data is lost.
Facebook linking is useful, but it should not be treated as a guarantee of recovery. Access can still depend on control of the Facebook account, the regional edition, the current account state, and any verification required by support. Activision recommends linking an account rather than remaining indefinitely on Guest; its account and login help section covers these options and Facebook-linking limitations.
Protect your account information
Keep your Player ID and account details private. Activision identifies the Player ID as an important account identifier and advises players not to share account credentials with other people. Use only official Activision or Garena support channels for account problems; third-party “recovery” or “linking” services can put the account at risk.
