Connect game accounts in the GeForce NOW app under Settings > Connections, then authorize the sign-in in the store or publisher’s browser flow. Steam library sync needs extra privacy settings; Epic and Ubisoft linking have storefront-specific rules. Linking helps GeForce NOW find supported games, but it does not make every game you own playable.

Before you link an account

Check that the exact game and storefront version are supported in the GeForce NOW supported-games listing. NVIDIA’s FAQ says games must be owned or purchased through a supported store, except for supported free-to-play games; availability can also vary by region. A connected account is for discovery and, in some cases, launch sign-in—not a guarantee of access to every title.

NVIDIA’s overview page lists “over 4,500 games,” a rounded catalog count that can change. It should not be read as the number of games in your own libraries that you can stream.

Link Steam and sync your game library

  1. In the GeForce NOW app, open Settings > Connections and select CONNECT beside Steam.
  2. Authorize the connection in the Steam sign-in page that opens in your browser, then return to GeForce NOW.
  3. For library sync, open your Steam privacy settings and set My profile and Game details to Public. Also turn off Always keep my total playtime private even if users can see my game details. NVIDIA says sync will not work unless these conditions are met.
  4. Return to GeForce NOW and use RESYNC after new Steam purchases or redemptions. Check the connected account in Settings > Connections.

Private Steam games do not sync. Free-to-play games and demos you have never played may also fail to sync automatically; if the title is supported, you can mark it as owned in GeForce NOW before launching.

Steam library sync is not Steam launch sign-in

The Steam account connected to help GeForce NOW find your games is not necessarily the account used when a Steam game launches. If the wrong account appears in the game session, sign in to the intended account when prompted. Changing the library-sync connection alone does not select the launch account.

Link Epic Games Store

  1. Open Settings > Connections in the GeForce NOW app and choose CONNECT beside Epic Games Store if that connection is offered for your account or game.
  2. Complete Epic’s sign-in and authorization flow, then return to GeForce NOW and confirm the account is connected.
  3. Look for the specific game and Epic storefront version in the supported-games listing; do not assume every Epic-owned title will appear or launch.

Epic launch behavior depends on the game. Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing, and LEGO Fortnite: Odyssey use the connected Epic account. For other Epic games, a launch session may require you to switch accounts in the Epic Games Launcher.

Link Ubisoft Connect

  1. In any GeForce NOW app, open Settings > Connections and select CONNECT beside Ubisoft.
  2. Sign in and authorize on Ubisoft’s website, then return to GeForce NOW. Complete Ubisoft two-factor authentication if requested. On TV platforms, the app may show a QR code to finish sign-in on a phone.
  3. Confirm that Ubisoft shows as connected. Supported Ubisoft games can then be added to My Library, and eligible launches may sign in automatically.

If Ubisoft was connected before library sync became available, disconnecting and reconnecting it may be needed. Ubisoft+ titles may also need to be launched or synced before they show in My Library.

  • Bought directly through Ubisoft Connect: the game can sync through Ubisoft, provided GeForce NOW supports that title.
  • Bought through Epic Games Store: link your Epic and Ubisoft accounts to each other, and connect Ubisoft in GeForce NOW. This cross-link lets Ubisoft identify supported Epic purchases.
  • Bought through Steam: Ubisoft account library sync does not import the game. It may still be playable if GeForce NOW supports it, but follow the sign-in prompt at launch.

Fix a missing game or wrong account

  1. Check the connected account. In GeForce NOW, open Settings > Connections and confirm you linked the intended Steam, Epic, or Ubisoft account.
  2. For a missing Steam game, check privacy and resync. Make the profile and game details public, ensure the playtime privacy option is off, and select RESYNC. Private games remain excluded; a never-played free-to-play game or demo may need to be marked as owned manually.
  3. For an Epic-purchased Ubisoft game, verify both account links. Epic and Ubisoft must be linked to one another as well as connected through GeForce NOW. If Ubisoft was linked before library sync was available, reconnect Ubisoft.
  4. Check the exact game and store version. Search the current supported-games listing; ownership and account linking cannot add an unsupported title.
  5. Use the right sign-in for the launch session. Steam library sync does not determine the Steam launch account. For Epic, the connected account is used by the four named games above, while other Epic launches may need an account change in the launcher. To switch the Ubisoft account used, disconnect it in GeForce NOW and connect the other account.
