Depending on your account and device, you may also be able to sign in with a verified email, a verified phone number in some mobile apps, a passkey, an email code, or Quick Login.
Log in with your username and password
- Open Roblox in a browser or app and go to the login screen.
- Enter your Roblox username and password, then select Log In.
If you choose email sign-in where it is offered, use the email address verified on the account. If Roblox says that email is associated with more than one username, enter the account username instead. See Roblox’s email sign-in instructions.

Choose another sign-in method if available
Sign-in choices depend on your account, device, platform, and which features Roblox has made available to you. Use a method you already have access to; none is available to every account on every platform.
Verified phone number
Some Roblox mobile apps let you sign in with the phone number verified on your account. This method is not available in every app. For details, see Roblox’s phone-number login guidance.

Quick Login from a device already signed in
Quick Login can authorize a new device using another device where you are already signed in. It may not be enabled for every user and is unavailable on Xbox.
- On the new device, start Quick Login and note the displayed code.
- On the device already signed in, open Account Settings > Quick Login and enter the code.
- Check the device details before approving the sign-in.
The code expires after five minutes. Roblox Support advises: “Only enter codes that you requested.” Follow Roblox’s Quick Login instructions.

Passkey
If you set up a passkey for your account, choose the passkey option and unlock your device when prompted. Roblox lists support for iOS 16 or later and computers running Windows 10, macOS Ventura, or ChromeOS 109, using Chrome 109 or later, Safari 16 or later, or Edge 109 or later. These are the requirements stated in Roblox’s passkey support article; support may change. If your passkey is not available, use another option Roblox offers, such as your password, Quick Login, or an email code.
Email one-time code
If Roblox offers this option, it sends a six-digit code to the verified email address on the account. Roblox says email-code login is available only to some users. Never share the code; Roblox says it will not contact you to ask for it. See Roblox’s one-time-code instructions.

Recover a forgotten password or username
Reset a forgotten password
- On the login page, select Forgot Password or Username?
- Choose email recovery and enter the email associated with the account, or use the phone recovery tab if a phone number is attached.
- Follow the recovery instructions Roblox sends. If an email does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder.
If neither an email address nor phone number is attached, this recovery tool cannot reset the password. Contact Roblox Customer Support and describe the login problem. Roblox says it must verify account ownership before resetting an account or changing its information. More steps are in Roblox’s password recovery guide.
Find a forgotten username
Use the username recovery option with an email address or phone number that was added to the account before you forgot the username. Roblox will list matching usernames. Some Roblox purchase receipts may also show the username. Roblox’s recovery process does not provide a route without an associated email, phone number, or purchase history. Protect your account and make recovery easier
- Add and verify an email address or phone number so it can help with account recovery. Phone verification is offered only in select countries.
- For users under 13, Roblox describes a parent’s verified email as a parental recovery email.
- Do not share your password or sign-in codes with anyone.
A passkey is an optional alternative to a password that uses your device’s unlock method, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or a screen-lock code. Roblox recommends setting one up only on a device you personally own, since someone who can unlock a shared device may be able to access the account.

Roblox also offers optional Enhanced Protection, which uses passkeys or hardware security keys for phishing-resistant sign-in and verification. Roblox says eligibility requires at least one passkey, a verified email, and either a verified phone number or backup codes. Some platforms do not support passkeys; Roblox recommends Quick Login on those devices. A hardware security key is not required for ordinary Roblox login. Read Roblox’s account-safety guidance.
