To make farming easier in Schedule I, reduce the jobs you repeat: use a Pot Sprinkler for watering, a Soil Pourer for refilling pots, longer-lasting soil to cut replacement, and Electric Plant Trimmers for faster harvesting. For quicker growth, choose between lights, an Air Pot, or additives while weighing their trade-offs in moisture, quality, and plant size.

Automate watering and soil placement

The item database lists two tools that work with an adjacent pot or grow tent. Arrange your growing area so the relevant container is next to the device; the database does not establish an optimal layout or say how many containers a device can cover.

Pot Sprinkler

When activated, the Pot Sprinkler waters an adjacent pot or grow tent. The database lists it for $200 and unlocks it at Street Rat V. It is the most direct listed way to reduce manual watering.

Soil Pourer

The Soil Pourer fills an adjacent pot or grow tent with soil. The database lists it for $300 and unlocks it at Hoodlum II, reducing the need to place soil by hand each time a container needs refilling.

These prices and unlock requirements come from an undated third-party item database that does not identify a game version or platform, so check the active build for current values. Schedule I item database

Replace soil less often

Longer-lasting soil can reduce the frequency of soil replacement. The item database lists basic Soil at $10, Long-Life Soil at $30 for two plant cycles, and Extra Long-Life Soil at $60 for three plant cycles. The latter soil types have progression requirements; the database does not establish that these prices or unlocks are unchanged in the current build. Schedule I item database

Choose a growing setup by the result you want

Faster growth can come with a cost: smaller plants, more moisture use, or lower quality. Decide which trade-off matters less for the crop you are growing rather than stacking every speed option automatically.

Grow Tent: built-in pot and lighting

The Grow Tent combines a pot with built-in lighting. The database lists it at $100 and Street Rat I, and describes its plants as growing faster but smaller. That makes it a compact option when speed matters more than plant size; it is not a universal upgrade if size is your priority. Schedule I item database

Grow lights: faster growth relative to halogen

The database says an LED Grow Light grows plants 15% faster than halogen, while a Full Spectrum Grow Light is listed as 30% faster than halogen. Both require a suspension rack. These are comparisons against halogen, not a stated comparison with every other growing setup. Schedule I grow lights

Air Pot or moisture-preserving pot: pick speed or water savings

An Air Pot is listed as increasing growth speed by 15% while increasing moisture drain by 30%. A moisture-preserving pot slows soil moisture loss by 40%. The former favors quicker growth but demands more frequent attention to moisture; the latter favors conserving moisture. The database gives no shared baseline or test conditions for these figures. Additives: trade quality for yield or speed

  • PGR: listed as increasing yield at the cost of quality.
  • Speed Grow: listed as instantly advancing a plant by 50% while reducing quality.

Use these when the stated benefit is worth the quality loss; the database does not provide a numeric yield increase for PGR. Schedule I additives

Make harvesting quicker

Plant Trimmers are described as necessary for harvesting. Electric Plant Trimmers add click-and-drag harvesting, which can make processing multiple plants less fiddly. The database lists ordinary Plant Trimmers at $10 and Electric Plant Trimmers at $50, with the electric version unlocking at Street Rat V. Verify these build-sensitive values in your game. A practical way to prioritize upgrades

  1. Start with the chore that interrupts you most. If watering is the recurring task, prioritize the Pot Sprinkler; if refilling containers is the nuisance, consider the Soil Pourer.
  2. Reduce repeat replacement. Choose longer-lasting soil if fewer soil changes are more useful to you than its listed upfront cost.
  3. Pick one growth trade-off deliberately. Consider a Grow Tent or lighting for speed, then compare that benefit with smaller plants, higher moisture demand, or additive-related quality loss.
  4. Simplify the harvest. Use Electric Plant Trimmers if click-and-drag harvesting suits your workflow.
