To make Ansha’s Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut, reach all five in-game flavor minimums: 50 sweet, 50 spicy, 210 sour, 180 bitter, and 370 fresh. At Hotel Z, choose the Alpha recipe and add Hyperspace Berries until every flavor indicator meets its target. One recipe option is 2 Hyper Payapa, 1 Hyper Kelpsy, 1 Hyper Yache, 1 Hyper Kebia, 1 Hyper Kasib, 1 Hyper Colbur, and 1 Hyper Chilan.

These are in-game recipe thresholds, not real-world measurements. Check all five indicators before confirming; meeting four targets is not enough if the fifth is still short. Hyperspace Berries are the ingredient type to use: The Pokémon Company explains that Hyperspace Berries produce better effects in donuts than regular Berries.
Where to make it and what to do
- Progress through the Mega Dimension content until Ansha’s Alpha recipe is available.
- Go to Hotel Z and speak with Ansha. Choose the Alpha recipe.
- Add Hyperspace Berries and watch the displayed flavor totals. Keep adjusting the ingredients until sweet is at least 50, spicy 50, sour 210, bitter 180, and fresh 370.
- Confirm the donut only after every minimum is met, then follow the resulting Kyogre mission.
The Pokémon Company’s official Mega Dimension announcement, published November 6, 2025, confirms the DLC context and describes Ansha making donuts from Berries and Hoopa using donuts to open portals. It does not publish the Alpha recipe itself; the recipe steps and totals here are reported by game guides.

How the donut leads to Kyogre
The Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut is used for the Kyogre encounter in Hyperspace Mission 14. VGC reports that the encounter has two battle phases—standard Kyogre followed by Primal Kyogre—before the capture opportunity. Once the donut is made, continue with the mission prompts to reach the encounter.

Where to find more Hyperspace Berries
If you are short on ingredients, VGC recommends collecting berries from floating Poké Balls in Hyperspace Lumiose zones, including the large gold Poké Ball awarded after zone tasks. This is guide advice rather than a berry-location detail given in the official announcement.
