Manage a Steam-billed subscription through Steam Account Details. There you can cancel a plan, update its saved payment method, and review past and known upcoming charges. If the game handles billing itself, check your account with that game instead.
Find out who bills the subscription
Steam subscriptions can follow two billing paths. The right place to manage a plan or check a renewal depends on which one applies:

Steam does not specify a single universal account path for every game-managed plan. Check the game’s own account or billing help if Steam Account Details does not show the subscription.
Cancel a Steam-billed subscription
- Sign in to Steam and open Account Details.
- Find your current subscriptions and select the plan you want to manage.
- Choose the cancellation option and follow the on-screen confirmation steps.
Steam says a cancelled subscription remains active until the paid plan expires. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not end access immediately. Steam does not offer a partial refund for unused subscription time.

Change payment details or check charges
For Steam-managed plans, use Account Details to update the payment method on record and review past or known upcoming charges. Steam says it emails billing details after a transaction is completed. If the subscription is billed through the game, consult the game account for upcoming billing information.
Can you pause a subscription or restart it?
Steam says subscriptions cannot be frozen or paused. You can renew a cancelled or lapsed plan through Account Details or subscribe again through the Steam Store. If reactivating a plan does not restore previous game data automatically, Steam advises contacting the game’s publisher; whether data can be restored depends on the game.

Investigate an unfamiliar charge
- Check whether another person with access to the payment method made the purchase.
- Review your Steam purchase history to identify the transaction.
- If the charge is still unexplained, contact Steam Support.
Steam notes that banks in some countries may add processing fees, taxes, or currency-conversion charges. These can affect the amount shown by your bank.
