In a Supercell game, open Settings, tap Supercell ID, and choose Create A New Supercell ID. Enter an unused, supported email address, verify it with the code Supercell sends, then choose a Player ID and avatar. Menu wording may vary by game; Supercell’s general instructions start in the game’s Settings.
How to create a Supercell ID
- Open the Supercell game and go to Settings.
- Tap Supercell ID, then select Create A New Supercell ID.
- Enter a valid email address that is not already connected to a Supercell ID. Some email domains are unsupported, so try a different address if the game rejects yours. Supercell’s About Supercell ID guidance explains the signup requirements.
- Tap Send Email. Open the email from Supercell, enter the verification code in the game, and submit it. Supercell’s account-saving instructions describe this setup flow.
- Choose a Player ID and select an avatar. Supercell advises against using your real name or other personal information as your Player ID.
Supercell ID is free and passwordless: when you sign in, you use a fresh code sent to your email rather than a password. Supercell Support describes the service and its login method.

Want a new game save instead?
Creating an ID for the game you already play and starting a fresh save are different tasks. To start a new game without risking your existing progress, Supercell’s instructions say to connect the current game to Supercell ID first if it is not already connected.
- In the current game, open Settings and connect the game to Supercell ID if needed.
- Open Settings again, enter the Supercell ID menu, and open its settings.
- Log out. On the game’s title screen, select Play without Supercell ID to begin a new game.
- After the new game starts, create a Supercell ID for it using the signup steps above.

Keep your account and login codes secure
- Turn on two-factor authentication for the email account linked to your Supercell ID.
- Do not share login codes with anyone who contacts you unexpectedly. Supercell says to provide a code to Support only during a conversation you started through in-game Help and Support. Read Supercell’s account-safety guidance.
- Supercell says you cannot opt out of Supercell ID after joining, a policy stated in its support guidance as of September 2023. Consider whether you want the game linked before completing setup. Check Supercell’s current guidance for the applicable details.
Already have an ID but need another email?
You do not need to create a second ID just to change the email address on an existing one. Supercell provides an in-game Change Email flow that requires verification; the option may be unavailable for accounts Supercell considers unsecured. Follow Supercell’s email-change instructions.
