For the PC version of Feed and Grow: Fish, the mod installation method depends on the specific mod. First, identify what you mean by “mods”
Community content or gameplay mods change the game itself. Cheat trainers instead provide toggles while the game runs; they are a separate type of tool, not a general mod loader or evidence of Steam Workshop support.

How the developer’s documented DLL method worked
In a March 14, 2021 Steam announcement, the developers described placing DLL mods in a custom subfolder inside the game’s local Mods folder. When the mod’s Assembly-CSharp.dll option was checked, the launcher temporarily replaced the game’s Feed and Grow_Data/Managed/Assembly-CSharp.dll with the mod copy for launch.

- Find the specific mod’s instructions and confirm that it calls for the launcher-assisted DLL method.
- Locate the game’s local
Modsfolder and create the custom subfolder required by that mod. - Place the mod files in that subfolder. If the instructions use the launcher’s
Assembly-CSharp.dlloption, select it before launching.
This is historical official guidance, not confirmation that the same steps work unchanged with every current build. The Steam store page identifies Old B1ood as the developer and Greens s.r.o. as the publisher, and cautions that developer update information may be stale: Feed and Grow: Fish on Steam.
Follow mod-specific instructions for DLL replacements
Not every mod uses the launcher method. The FeedAndGrowEvolved page on Nexus Mods instructs users to copy its Assembly-CSharp.dll into Feed and Grow_Data/Managed and explicitly says not to start the game through the launcher for that mod.

- Back up the original file before replacing it, so you have a copy to restore.
- Use the instructions on the exact mod page rather than combining its steps with another mod’s method.
- Only download files from sources you trust.
Is there Steam Workshop support?
The March 14, 2021 announcement presented Steam Workshop AssetBundle content mods and a complete mod guide as future plans. The cited information does not confirm whether those plans were implemented later, so do not assume the Workshop is a current, universal installation route.
If you meant cheats, use a trainer instead
WeMod lists a Windows trainer for Feed and Grow: Fish with seven game-specific toggles. It is intended for cheats, not community content mods. WeMod says it detects the running game version and indicates support; check its current listing for availability and details: WeMod’s Feed and Grow: Fish trainer.
