In Roblox Studio, press Alt+S on Windows or Option+S (⌥S) on Mac. You can also open the File menu and choose Studio Settings. Once the window opens, use its search field to find a setting by keyword.
Open Studio Settings with a keyboard shortcut

Open settings from the menu
- Open Roblox Studio.
- Choose File > Studio Settings. Roblox documents this menu route in its Studio testing instructions.
Find a particular option
Use the search field at the top of the Studio Settings window and enter a keyword. Roblox gives “theme” as an example for locating the light and dark theme options. For script editor preferences, look in the Script Editor tab; available customizations include font, tab width, indentation, text wrapping, and color presets, as described in the Script Editor documentation.
Make sure you opened the right settings
Studio Settings refers to settings for the Studio application. It is different from other windows with “Settings” in their names, such as Avatar Settings, or settings for an individual experience. The File-menu route above opens Studio Settings.
