To open Sakuko’s mailbox in Silent Hill f, pick up the Key to Sakuko’s Mailbox near the approach to Sennensugi Shrine, then return to Sakuko’s residence in Ebisugaoka and use it on the mailbox beside the house. It contains the Spider Omamori and a Letter from the Hospital.
Find Sakuko’s mailbox in Ebisugaoka
On the return visit to town, go north past the candy store and take the alley to Sakuko’s residence. The mailbox is beside the house. You can interact with it before you have the key, but you cannot open it yet. Dexerto’s route guide describes this approach.
Pick up the mailbox key at Sennensugi Shrine
Continue north toward Sennensugi Shrine. Look near the shrine approach for the Key to Sakuko’s Mailbox, which is beside a letter. Silent Hill Memories’ Ebisugaoka Part 2 walkthrough places it by the stone shrines on the left side of the approach; Dexerto describes it as resting on a rock.
Return to the house and open the mailbox
- Backtrack to Sakuko’s residence in Ebisugaoka.
- Interact with the mailbox beside the house and use the key. No separate code or puzzle solution is indicated in the walkthrough.
- Collect the Spider Omamori and the Letter from the Hospital inside.
Why it is worth opening
Dexerto says the Spider Omamori greatly reduces weapon durability consumption from light attacks; the letter adds story context about Sakuko. Opening the mailbox is also tied to the “A Federal Offense” trophy or achievement, according to Silent Hill Memories’ later Tainted Town walkthrough.

Do not leave it until the end
The walkthroughs describe an opportunity to open the mailbox after the shrine visit and a later, final chance to collect its contents and earn the trophy or achievement. Pick up the key at the shrine and use an available return route before progressing beyond the areas you can revisit.
