To pair the Switch 2-specific Rematch Wireless Controller, open Controllers > Change Grip/Order with a Joy-Con, hold the Rematch sync button for three seconds, then press L and R on the Rematch. For the Rematch Wired Controller, connect its cable to the Switch 2 dock; if it does not connect automatically, open Change Grip/Order and press L and R when prompted.
Identify which Rematch controller you have
Turtle Beach lists separate Rematch Wireless and Rematch Wired controllers made for Switch 2. Check the model before setup: the wireless version has a sync button and rechargeable battery, while the wired version connects by USB cable and needs no battery.

- Wireless controller paired before but will not reconnect: Open Controllers > Change Grip/Order and press L and R when prompted.
- Wired controller does not connect automatically: Confirm that the cable is plugged into a USB port on the Switch 2 dock, then use Change Grip/Order and press L and R when prompted.
- Buttons or feature descriptions do not match: Check the exact Rematch generation. Turtle Beach says its earlier wireless Rematch also works with Switch 2, but its C Button is unavailable on that console. The older wired model’s support information lists Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED when used with the dock; it is distinct from the Switch 2-specific wired model.
For those older models, see Turtle Beach’s earlier Rematch Wireless product information and Rematch Wired FAQ. Do not assume that every Rematch controller has the same Switch 2 compatibility or features.
