Completing it unlocks the Seance achievement.
How to complete Zoey’s séance
- Continue Zoey’s story. The séance is a Zoey story event, not a general interaction elsewhere in the house. Advance her story until she proposes the ritual.
- Awaken at least three eligible non-object Dateables. The guides report this as the minimum requirement. Eligible candidates they name are Daemon, Doug, Nightmare, Textbox-Chan, The Sassy Chap, Reggie, Willi, and xxXShadowl0rd420Xxx. You only need three of these candidates; the guides do not establish that this list is exhaustive.
- Continue through the séance scene. Once the required characters are ready, proceed with the event rather than backing out. Completing the séance earns the Seance achievement.
What happens if you back out?
The Zoey guide reports that backing out at the last second, even after gathering the required Dateables, leads to Zoey’s Hate ending. If your goal is to perform the ritual and earn its achievement, do not choose to leave the scene.

How certain is the three-character requirement?
The achievement guide labels the minimum count as needing more data, while the Zoey character guide’s search-result excerpt independently says at least three candidates are required. Treat three as the guide-reported threshold; exact dialogue choices, button inputs, and whether a current patch has changed the event are not established.
