AirConsole is planned for selected European Zeekr vehicles as an over-the-air update by the end of 2026. When the feature reaches your exact car, the infotainment display runs the game and a smartphone becomes the controller: open AirConsole in the car, scan the QR code shown on the screen, and join the player lobby. Zeekr says a Zeekr Connected Premium subscription is required and that no extra gaming hardware is needed.
This is a planned rollout, not proof that every Zeekr owner can use AirConsole today. Zeekr has not yet published the eligible models, countries, software versions, or a universal subscription price.

What Zeekr has announced—and what it has not
Zeekr’s 12 October 2026 announcement describes an AirConsole partnership aimed at selected European models. The company says the feature is expected to arrive through an over-the-air software update by the end of 2026. That wording matters: availability is staged and future-facing, so the absence of AirConsole on your screen today does not by itself establish that your car is unsupported.

The announcement does not name the participating models, European countries, minimum software versions, or exact rollout dates for individual vehicles. Check the information shown for your own market and car rather than relying on a list copied from another country.

N-Dream’s 13 October announcement confirms that AirConsole technology was demonstrated in a Zeekr 7GT at the Paris Motor Show. A demonstration proves that the system can run in that vehicle; it does not confirm that every 7GT customer, or every model displayed at the event, will receive the production feature.

What you need before starting
- A supported Zeekr in a participating European market. AirConsole must have been enabled for your exact vehicle. The public announcement does not provide a complete eligibility list.
- The current vehicle software. The feature is planned as an over-the-air update. Install updates offered through the car’s normal software process, but do not assume that any particular version number is required until Zeekr publishes one.
- Zeekr Connected Premium. Zeekr identifies this annual subscription as a prerequisite. The price is market-specific and is displayed in the Zeekr app, so there is no reliable universal figure to quote.
- A smartphone. It scans the QR code and acts as the game controller. Zeekr says no separate controller, dongle, console, or other gaming device is necessary.
- A suitable network connection. AirConsole’s general setup guidance recommends that the phone and the large screen share a Wi-Fi network. The exact in-car networking behavior is vehicle-specific, so follow the connection prompt shown by your Zeekr.
- A safe place to play. Treat games as passenger entertainment while the vehicle is safely stopped. Never operate a game as the driver while the car is moving.
How to play AirConsole in a Zeekr: step by step
- Confirm that AirConsole is actually available. Look through the vehicle’s infotainment applications after the relevant software update. If no AirConsole icon or entry appears, do not presume that a reset or a new phone will fix it; the rollout may not yet cover your model, country, or account. Check Zeekr’s current local support information and the update status reported for your car.
- Verify Connected Premium. Open the Zeekr app and check whether the annual Zeekr Connected Premium package is active for the vehicle. If the package is not active, resolve that account or subscription issue before troubleshooting phone pairing. The app is the authoritative place to see the price for your market.
- Park safely and prepare the phone. Put the vehicle in a safe, stationary location and use a phone that can scan a QR code. If several people will play, each participant should have a phone available. Keep the phone and the car’s display on the network recommended by AirConsole’s setup guidance where your vehicle permits it.
- Open AirConsole on the car’s infotainment display. Zeekr’s pairing description says the display presents a QR code. Wait for the code to finish loading before attempting to scan it.
- Scan the displayed QR code. Use the smartphone camera and follow the link or prompt that appears. The phone becomes the controller after it joins the session; there is no separate controller-pairing procedure described by Zeekr.
- Enter the player lobby. AirConsole’s general guide describes a lobby in which the phone joins the session. Complete the prompt on the phone rather than trying to select the game there first.
- Choose a game on the large screen. The host selects the title in the car’s infotainment display. The phone supplies the controls while the car screen shows the game.
- Add other players if wanted. AirConsole’s general flow allows additional players to join with their own phones and the same connection code or session prompt. Each person should complete the joining process on their own device.
- End the session when finished. Leave the game through the infotainment interface and disconnect or lock the phones. If you are about to drive, make sure every player has stopped interacting and that the driver’s attention is fully on the road.
How the phone-and-screen connection works
The car is the game screen
AirConsole runs in the vehicle’s infotainment environment when Zeekr has enabled the feature. The display is where the host opens the service, selects a title, and sees the game. You should not expect the phone to stream the entire game as a substitute screen; its role is control and session joining.
The phone is the controller
Scanning the QR code links the phone to the session. AirConsole’s general help information also describes joining through a phone app or phone browser and, in some setups, entering a code manually. That is general AirConsole guidance, not a Zeekr-specific fallback. Use manual entry only if the Zeekr interface or the AirConsole prompt explicitly offers it.

Multiple phones can join
The host starts the session on the large display, while additional participants use their own phones to join the same lobby. This arrangement avoids the need to carry gamepads for a group, but every participant still needs a compatible phone and a working connection to the session.
Why the network matters
AirConsole recommends that the phone and big screen share a Wi-Fi network. In a car, network behavior can depend on the vehicle’s connectivity design and the way the infotainment system exposes the session. If a phone can see the QR prompt but cannot enter the lobby, first follow the network instructions displayed by the car rather than inventing a different pairing method.
Safety and use while driving
Neither Zeekr’s announcement nor the available general AirConsole guidance states a Zeekr-specific rule that blocks games while the vehicle is moving, nor does it publish a parked-only software requirement. You therefore should not infer how Zeekr’s production software behaves from a different automaker’s manual or from another vehicle’s AirConsole menu.

The practical rule is straightforward: play only as a passenger while the vehicle is safely stopped, and never ask the driver to scan a code, hold a phone, select a game, or operate controls in motion. If Zeekr later publishes a stricter lockout or regional safety condition, that official requirement takes precedence over this general guidance.
Which games are available?
N-Dream identified PAC-MAN Championship Edition as the showcase title for the Paris Motor Show demonstration. That confirms a game used at the event, not the complete catalogue that will be offered to customers after launch.
Do not treat a demonstration title, a screenshot, or a list from another AirConsole installation as a promise about your Zeekr. The available Zeekr announcement does not publish the final catalogue, regional game availability, age ratings, or whether the selection will change over time. The titles visible in your in-car AirConsole interface are the reliable indication of what your account and market can play.

Troubleshooting by symptom
AirConsole is missing from the infotainment system
- Check whether the car has completed the latest software update offered to it.
- Verify that the vehicle is in a market covered by Zeekr’s rollout and that its model is one of the selected vehicles. The public announcement does not provide a definitive list.
- Confirm that Connected Premium is active in the Zeekr app.
- Use Zeekr’s current local support channel for an eligibility check instead of installing an unofficial package or assuming that the 7GT demonstration guarantees access.
The QR code does not scan
- Wait for the code to refresh fully on the car display, then try the phone’s camera again.
- Increase screen brightness, remove glare, and hold the phone steady at a comfortable distance.
- Make sure the camera is pointed at the current code rather than a photo or an expired session.
- If the screen offers a code-entry option, follow that on-screen route. Manual entry is a general AirConsole capability and is not confirmed as a Zeekr fallback in the announcement.
The phone scans but never joins
- Follow the phone prompt all the way into the lobby; scanning alone does not select a game.
- Check the network arrangement recommended by AirConsole and the instructions shown by the vehicle.
- Close duplicate AirConsole tabs or sessions on the phone and rescan the code displayed by the car.
- Try one phone first. Add other players only after the host phone has joined successfully.
A second player cannot connect
- Have the second player scan the same active session code from the car display.
- Ensure the phone is not still attached to a different lobby.
- Confirm that both devices can reach the network used for the session.
- If the game has a player limit, follow the lobby’s own message; the available announcements do not specify limits for Zeekr.
The subscription appears active but the feature is locked
- Check that the subscription belongs to the same Zeekr account and vehicle shown in the app.
- Allow time for an account change to synchronize, then restart the infotainment system using the vehicle’s normal procedure.
- If AirConsole still does not appear, the issue may be rollout eligibility rather than payment. Ask Zeekr support to confirm model, country, and software eligibility.
Is Connected Premium worth activating for AirConsole?
AirConsole alone is not enough to establish that buying the package will unlock the feature. Use the following decision checks before paying:

If your car is not yet eligible, buying a subscription solely in the hope that AirConsole will appear is a gamble. Confirm support first. If the feature is already visible, the app shows the local annual price, and you have passengers who will use it safely, the subscription requirement is clear enough to make an informed decision.
What the partnership signals
N-Dream says AirConsole has reached more than 5 million vehicles worldwide. That is the company’s own reported platform figure, not an independently audited measurement. It also describes Zeekr as its first partnership within Geely Auto Group and presents the deal as part of a broader move toward integrated in-car entertainment.

At the Paris announcement, N-Dream CEO Anthony Cliquot said, “Zeekr moves fast and this makes it a natural fit for AirConsole. As our first partnership within Geely Auto Group, it’s also a sign of where we see the next wave of in-car entertainment coming from: a new generation of automakers treating infotainment and in-car technology as a core part of the driving experience.”
Zeekr Europe CEO Lothar Schupet said, “Our partnership with AirConsole gives us an opportunity to explore how gaming can become part of the connected in-car experience. We are looking forward to giving Paris Motor Show visitors a first-hand look at what that can mean for time spent in our premium vehicles.” These statements describe the partnership’s direction; they do not add a model list, launch date, catalogue, or moving-use policy.
Information to check before launch day
- The exact Zeekr models that receive AirConsole.
- The participating European countries and any market-specific restrictions.
- The minimum infotainment software version and the order in which updates are released.
- The annual Connected Premium price and renewal terms in your market.
- Whether Zeekr imposes a parked-only lockout or another motion-related restriction.
- The customer game catalogue, player limits, and any title-specific age or regional restrictions.
Until Zeekr publishes those details, the dependable procedure is limited to the parts it has described: open AirConsole on an eligible in-car display, scan its QR code with a smartphone, and use the phone as the controller. Everything else—eligibility, local pricing, catalogue, and exact safety behavior—must be confirmed for the individual vehicle.
