What you need before installing
The Lucia listing names these tools and dependencies: ScriptHook, ScriptHook V.NET, OpenIV, and AddonPeds. It directs users to place the model files in the AddonPeds peds.rpf path and register the ped in AddonPeds’ list. Follow the current package instructions for exact file names and placement rather than assuming another Lucia download uses the same structure.

Install and select the Lucia model

Install a switching mod only if you want its separate behavior. Follow that mod’s package-specific instructions and use its uninstaller if you remove it; do not assume the model and switching packages share an installation or removal process.
The add-on approach is the one supported by the Lucia page: it gives you a model to register and select. Replacing an existing pedestrian is a different type of installation, and the listing does not describe replacing a particular GTA V model with this Lucia file. Do not follow a replacement tutorial for a different package and assume it applies here.

There are also two ways to select the add-on ped in the described workflow. You can use the AddonPeds selector, or use a trainer’s model-change menu. The listing identifies both options, but does not establish that all trainers use the same menu names or keybindings. Choose the method you have installed and follow its own controls. The phrase “In-game, press L” appears in source wording, but should not be treated as a universal instruction for every selector version or configuration.
If you decide to add Seamless Character Switching, treat it as a second mod with its own install and removal instructions. The listing describes faster switching, not the addition of Lucia. Likewise, a dependency’s support for one edition does not prove that the model assets themselves are compatible with it. Check each component’s current page for the edition and build you actually have installed.
Build compatibility can change after updates. ScriptHook V is tied to the GTA V game version, and the community guide warns it can stop working after an update until a compatible build is released. If the game updates, revisit the dependency and mod instructions rather than assuming the previous setup remains valid. If you cannot verify the relevant support, pause before installing or launching the modded setup.
Troubleshoot common problems
GTA V will not launch after installation
Use the backup to restore the original files you changed, then confirm the unmodded game launches. Loose files can prevent startup. Reinstall only the dependencies and model files that match the installed edition and build, adding one package at a time so the failing change is identifiable.

Avoid deleting unfamiliar files simply because they look related to a mod. Restore the files you knowingly changed from your backup, and consult the relevant package instructions if you are unsure what belongs to it. Testing the clean game first helps distinguish a general game problem from one introduced by the mod installation.

ScriptHook stops working after a game update
Check whether a compatible ScriptHook V build is available for the current GTA V version. The community guide warns that ScriptHook V depends on the game version and may stop working after an update. Avoid treating an older working setup as proof that the latest build is supported.
This is a compatibility issue, not something to solve by assuming Lucia’s model files need a different installation path. Confirm that the game build and ScriptHook version match, and check the current instructions for the other dependencies before trying again.
Lucia does not appear in the selector
Check that the model files are in the AddonPeds peds.rpf path specified by the package and that the ped has been added to AddonPeds’ list. Then use the selector or trainer method stated by the Lucia listing. Do not substitute a keybinding from a different setup unless your installed tool documents it.
Also confirm that you followed the add-on ped instructions for this exact download. The listing describes registering the model with AddonPeds; simply copying files without completing the registration step may leave the model unavailable through the listed selection methods. If you use a trainer, check its own model-change controls rather than expecting it to behave exactly like the AddonPeds selector.
OpenIV does not work on Enhanced
The Seamless Character Switching listing says Enhanced users need an additional tool for OpenIV to work with that edition. Follow the current instructions attached to the relevant mod and OpenIV setup. This does not establish that the Lucia model itself supports Enhanced.
Keep the scope of that compatibility note clear: it is part of the switching mod listing’s instructions for Enhanced users. It is not a general confirmation that every mod or asset designed around OpenIV will work on Enhanced, and it does not resolve the Lucia listing’s unclear edition support.

A switching mod causes problems
