How to use Jeff’s abilities
Joyful Splash: sustain allies with your primary fire
Joyful Splash is Jeff’s rapid-fire support attack, described as delayed projectiles on the official hero page. Use it to heal teammates who need help, shifting attention as the fight changes. When allies are stable, it can also pressure nearby enemies, but your priority depends on the state of the team.

Aqua Burst: use charges for area effect or disruption
Aqua Burst launches a water sphere that bursts on impact; direct hits can launch enemies upward. The official page lists three charges that recharge over time. Aim where the impact or burst can help, and avoid spending every charge without a reason. Use the upward launch when disrupting an enemy is more useful than saving the ability for a later opening.
Healing Bubble: make pickups reachable
Healing Bubble heals the ally who collects it and grants healing and movement boosts, according to the official description. Place bubbles where teammates can safely reach them, rather than assuming the effect will help someone who cannot collect one. Think of the pickup as support your team must be able to access.

Hide and Seek: dive to reposition or escape
With Hide and Seek, Jeff dives, heals while submerged, gains movement speed, and can crawl on walls. The page also describes him as Unstoppable during the dive and lists a reduced hitbox and a 60% movement boost. Use the ability to leave danger or take a safer route through the map. Once the threat has passed, return to a position where you can support teammates instead of staying away from the fight.

It’s Jeff! can catch allies and enemies in its area. During the effect, Jeff damages enemies and heals allies before ejecting them; activation also creates an 8 m healing pool that lasts 8 seconds, according to the official hero page. The ultimate can therefore affect both teams and move players from where they were standing.

- Check who is in the area. Make sure you understand which allies and enemies could be swallowed before activating.
- Consider the ejection. Think about where caught players will be released and whether that outcome helps your team.
- Coordinate with teammates. Communicate if allies may be caught so they are less likely to be surprised by the effect.
- Use the healing deliberately. Account for the healing during the effect and the pool left at activation when deciding whether the timing suits your team.

Team-ups and balance changes
The official character page shows Jeff-nado! with Storm, as well as Guardian of the Deep and other team-up entries. Team-up availability and roster details can change, so check the in-game team-up panel before building a plan around a named pairing. The official news index is another place to check dated updates.
For context, Marvel Rivals’ Season 8 notes dated May 13, 2026 mention a fix to Jeff’s bubble-charge restoration in Blood Hunt. That is a historical, mode-specific fix; it does not establish a current change to his core kit.
