Can you still play the original Demon Rush mode?
Fortnite announced its KPop Demon Hunters-themed Demon Rush as a limited-time mode for October 2, 2025. The official promotion described the objective as taking on demons to seal the Honmoon. Fortnite’s announcement video confirms the launch date and limited-time status. TechRadar reported that the mode ended November 1, 2025, but Epic’s reviewed sources do not provide a current official status notice confirming that end date. TechRadar’s report is the source for the reported closing date.

As of October 8, 2026, Epic’s KPop Demon Hunters category includes creator-made islands, but a listing with “Demon Rush” in its name should not be mistaken for the historical event mode. Epic’s category page is a way to browse the currently listed experiences; island availability may change.
How to find a related Demon Rush island now
- Open Fortnite and scroll down to Discover.
- Choose Search.
- Enter 0259-0883-0549, or search for KDH: Demon Rush.
- Check the island’s name and creator before launching: Epic lists this experience under creator untitledfn. Its listing describes demon-wave survival for solo play or with friends.
This code opens a creator-made island, not the original collaboration’s limited-time mode. See Epic’s KDH: Demon Rush listing for its island details.

Another island with a similar name
DEMON RUSH by teamtuk is a separate creator island. Its code is 7313-5778-0976. Find it through Discover > Search by entering the code or island name. Epic describes its loop as eliminating zombies, leveling up, unlocking worlds, and finding a boss; it is not the original KPop Demon Hunters event. Epic’s teamtuk listing identifies the island.
What the original limited-time mode was like
The original Demon Rush was a KPop Demon Hunters reworking of Fortnite’s wave-survival format. TechRadar’s 2025 report, attributing its description to Epic, says players recruited one of Rumi, Mira, or Zoey, fought waves of faceless demons, and chose themed perks between survival phases. Epic’s launch promotion framed the goal as fighting demons to seal the Honmoon. Those details describe the historical mode; they should not be assumed to apply to current creator islands.

Want a guided KPop Demon Hunters experience instead?
Epic’s KPop Demon Hunters starter island is a separate creator/template experience, not Demon Rush. Epic’s UEFN documentation describes a guided progression that begins in an alley, where players can hire HUNTR/X allies and equip Rumi’s Empowered Sword, then moves through demon fights in a bathhouse and onward to the plaza. Epic’s starter-island documentation explains the showcase.
Epic also documented creator gameplay items including Rumi’s Empowered Sword, Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon, Zoey’s Bubble Shield, and Tiger’s Teleporting Mask. These are tools and content for creator islands, not prerequisites for playing the historical Demon Rush mode. Epic’s creator announcement describes the assets and the KPop Demon Hunters Game Collections page scheduled for Discover on October 3, 2025.
