Luna Snow works best when you balance healing with pressure on exposed enemies. Use Light & Dark Ice to switch between those jobs, keep Share the Stage on an ally who needs steady support, and save Luna’s control and ultimate for moments when they can change a fight.
What Luna Snow does
Luna is a Strategist whose primary attack, Light & Dark Ice, heals allies and damages enemies. She is not limited to standing back and healing: look for safe chances to contribute damage while keeping teammates in reach.

Position where you can maintain line of sight to teammates—especially the frontline—without giving enemies an easy target. Use cover and movement to limit your exposure; general positioning advice cannot guarantee a safe or optimal spot in every fight.
How to use Luna’s abilities
Light & Dark Ice: switch targets with purpose
Use the primary attack on injured allies when they need support, then turn it on exposed enemies when healing is not the more urgent need. The attack’s healing and damage functions make target choice a central part of playing Luna.

Share the Stage: choose an ally to link
Share the Stage marks a selected ally. The official hero profile lists a 35% healing boost, and says a marked ally also recovers health when Luna heals other teammates. Apply it to someone likely to benefit from your healing, then keep using your normal attack to support the wider team.
Ice Arts: line up targets
Ice Arts changes Luna’s primary attack into a piercing stream that can damage enemies or heal allies. It lasts six seconds and has a 15-second cooldown according to Marvel’s official Luna Snow profile. Activate it when allies or enemies line up so the stream can reach multiple targets; it is a limited-duration ability, not a continuous effect.
Absolute Zero: use the freeze to control a threat
Absolute Zero fires a projectile that freezes a hit enemy and grants Luna bonus health. The profile lists an 80 m/s projectile speed and a 12-second cooldown. Marvel’s December 2025 balance post documents the speed increase from 60 m/s to 80 m/s: December 2025 balance update.

Think of the freeze as defensive control: it can interrupt or deter an approaching threat, but no single timing or matchup is guaranteed. The freeze ends if the target is attacked during its final 2.2 seconds, so coordinate focus fire if your team wants to preserve the effect.
Smooth Skate: build movement before you need it
Moving forward long enough activates Smooth Skate, which increases Luna’s movement speed and jump height. Keep moving when it is safe to do so, and combine that mobility with cover rather than relying on movement alone to avoid incoming attacks.
Choose the right Fate of Both Worlds mode
Luna’s ultimate, Fate of Both Worlds, switches between team healing and a damage boost. Pick the mode that answers the team’s immediate need:

The current energy cost is 4,800. Marvel’s July 11, 2026 hotfix lowered it from 5,000: July 11, 2026 hotfix. The profile’s values and abilities should be read alongside later balance updates, since older character pages may not reflect subsequent changes.

Use Number One Idol to improve Luna’s support loop
Number One Idol can be applied to Luna herself. Marvel’s 2025 balance notes say self-use grants a 10% healing boost and a 10% damage boost, while converting 10% of healing to allies into healing for Luna: December 2025 balance update.
Idol Aura also reduces Ice Arts’ cooldown by two seconds when a hero with the aura takes part in a KO, according to Marvel’s 2026 notes: March 2026 balance update. This makes the aura relevant to both Luna’s sustain and her ability cycle, but it does not make Ice Arts continuously available.

A simple decision flow during a fight
- Before engaging: Move forward enough to activate Smooth Skate when it is safe, and take a position with useful sightlines to teammates.
- At the start of the fight: Put Share the Stage on an ally likely to need your healing, then use Light & Dark Ice to support injured teammates.
- When targets line up: Use Ice Arts to send its piercing stream through allies who need healing or enemies you can safely pressure.
- When a threat closes in: Use Absolute Zero to freeze it and create room for your team to respond. Be aware that attacking the target during the final 2.2 seconds cancels the freeze.
- At a pivotal moment: Use Fate of Both Worlds for healing if the team must endure pressure, or for damage when teammates are positioned to exploit the boost.

Marvel’s official hero profile identifies Luna as a Strategist and lists her abilities and values. Balance updates can change those values; the dated changes above cover the documented Luna adjustments relevant here. The official hero profile includes team-up listings, but those older entries do not establish which team-ups are currently available in the live game.
The official profile and balance posts cited here do not establish a current Luna-specific win rate, pick rate, or tier ranking. They also do not substantiate a separate build or loadout choice for her, so the useful decisions supported here are about positioning, target selection, ability timing, and ultimate mode.
